Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful very ideal for families that have small children. The entire space was clean and disinfected. We were in constant communication with the managers of the property who wanted to make sure that we had every thing we needed during our time at the house. We will definitely stay on this property again.

Nice place. I may have missed it in the description but know this is only the downstairs unit. The upstairs patio shown in photos is not included. (this was not an issue for us but just wanted others to be aware)Parking at the unit was impossible in our car (and most cars) per the description but we were able to find nearby street parking fairly easily.

Spring break

Wonderful location and property. Well equipped as described and clean. Carport situation is nothing short of impossible to park even with a compact car that aligns with the measurements provided. Neighbor parked and put out trashcan so it was nearly impossible to get out. Gave up and just did street parking. Rent a golf cart, that will fit the space. If you are sensitive noise above you this unit is not for you. Overall good visit.

Great location!

Perfect little beach house walking distance to the boardwalk. The only drawback is that what they call a parking spot is not wide enough for a vehicle nor is it easy to park in or access. The only other negative is the VERY loud upstairs either tenant or other VRBO renter. Not sure if the place is carpeted but if it is t it should be!!

Beautiful beach house

It was everything that the picture show plus more. the house was clean We had enough towels for everyone. The outside patio was very pleasant for us just to relax in the evening or afternoon. We did have people staying on the apartment above us you could not even tell that they were there. Ocean beach, food places to go and things to do was all around us. It was a very wonderful day. Noisy with unrealistic parking

We arrive and could not get our car in carport as described by listing. Unloading our belongings in front took us four circles around block due to us blocking road. Later the first day the car across alley moved so we were able to put our car in port. Upon getting up the second morning to go to breakfast, only to see our car was blocked in by neighbors across the alley. It stayed that way until the following day at around 4pm. I quickly removed our car and had to park it 8 blocks away. Afraid of being blocked in again. First night at around 6:30 pm. Upstairs guest returned home and the house begain to shake. The noise was so horrible and loud and didnt stop until 11:30 pm.. We were exhausted the next day.. This noise continued every evening until we packed up 1 day early and went to hotel to get some rest... I have rented through Vrbo several times and have alway had good experiences. I even rented a home 2 blocks from this home with what looked like same layout... NO it wasnt. The listing states 2 bedroom on first floor.. never does it say that all rooms are on first floor. And the upstairs noise will drive you out early.

Cute house near mission beach

We're very happy with the property. Checked in was very easy with access code to the door. The location is amazing, very close to the beach and the bay area. The house got everything we need, full stock kitchen/washer/dryer and 2 bathrooms are a plus for family of 4. The parking spot is at the back of the house, it is small but we able to fit our Camry in the spot no problem. You can hear the airplane and upstairs neighbor walking but it not bother us. We're very happy with our stay and will definitely come back again!!

Great place in a great location

Overall this was a great place to stay - very clean and updated, plenty of space for our group of 3. The other reviews regarding the noise from upstairs are accurate. If you like to sleep in or you are a light sleeper it could be an issue for you, but it wasn't a big deal for us. The location is excellent. The reviews about the parking are also accurate. The space is too small for anything larger than a very compact car, so we had to find street parking which we were able to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking nightmare

We experienced a few issues with our rental experience. First and most importantly, the parking spot allotted to our rental was situated in such a way that it was impossible to use. I read that they recommended only a compact car so I changed my rental car from an SUV to a compact car. But, even with two people at each fender providing guidance, there was no way to fit my compact car into the parking space. This definitely took away from the relaxation of our vacation because I was constantly in search of a parking space on the public streets, trying to maneuver around street sweeping parking restrictions, having to park literally a mile up the road, etc. I even had to set my alarm clock (on vacation!) to be sure to move my car before 8am to avoid street sweeping. Realistically, the parking space would only have been useful for a motorcycle. Meanwhile, it appeared there were two unused garages in the same building that I wasn't allowed to use. Secondly, the home had mice! Thirdly, upon rising on my first morning, I discovered that the coffee pot had a large hole in it and was cracked and was completely unusable. That was annoying enough but it also made me wonder about the cleanliness of the entire place, since someone obviously didn't bother to clean the coffee pot because it would have been impossible not to have discovered the pot had a large hole in it and was cracked. Thankfully, the unit also had a Keurig machine so all was not lost as far as morning coffee went. Again, it was more the fact that no one bothered to attempt to clean the coffee pot that made me wonder how clean the rest of the place was. So, between the parking situation, the mice, and the broken coffee pot and questions of cleanliness, I found myself feeling like I had very much overpaid for my rental. Definitely recommend thinking twice. On the other hand, the only fatal issue was the parking spot. If I wasn't bringing a car, I would consider renting this again. Last thing: if you are noise sensitive, this section of Mission Beach is directly in the take off path of the airport. It wasn't a huge issue for me but I could see someone being annoyed by it.

Very cozy but very noisey

The house was great! Great location! Parking is horrible! Had to park far ans got a ticket for parking which sucked. The house still had left over stuff from prior guests and the recliners didn't all work. The upstairs people were sooooo loud every time they moved or used the patio it was terribly loud for us below. The house overall is great but having someone stay above you is bad because you literally hear everything!! But great location and cozy home other than that

Beach house was adorable, great location, excellent layout and patio. Worked really well for my family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 kids. Only thing I’d suggest is that the place be cleaned better, and kitchen items be in better condition. Floor and rugs were grimy and sticky. Lots and pans were junky and made it hard to cook with. Other than those things, excellent property.

Cute beach house

We had a great time staying at this cute house. It was clean and cozy and was stocked up with everything we needed (kitchen wise and beach wise). I was really bummed about the parking situation and wish I had read more about how small it was. It made it so that I didn’t want to leave at all when we got a good parking spot. I also wish that they had a king size bed in the primary bedroom. There is definitely room for it. Another thing that kind of bothered my husband and I was that they only allow you to have the air conditioner above 72. We are from AZ and are hot sleepers. We were really hot. Maybe providing a fan in each room would have helped since they have a limit on the air conditioning would have made it more comfortable. All in all it was cute and clean and in a great location. I loved the customer service that I could text instead of call.

Nice Place.

This property fit our family perfectly. Its south Mission beach location gets you out of the fray of the weekend beach goers. Cleanliness was great, property manager and check in great. The neighbors who live there are all very friendly and helpful. But, it's not perfect. First of all, there is no parking stall unless you have a Smart Car or motorcycle. We couldn't get a Honda Civic in the space. Street parking is tough but available. We cook most of our meals together and the kitchen could use more pots, pans, bowls etc. Noise from upper unit can be quite annoying with heavy walkers or kids running around at 6 am. Overall though, I gave it a 5 star because I would stay there again.

Great home in an excellent location!

The home is wonderful and well stocked. The location is supurb! Close to the beach and bay in just minutes. So much to do. However, the parking space will NOT fit a normal size car, you need to have a compact small car and any extra parking at the beach is almost impossible to find but you can if you drive around for awhile. Other than that it was perfect! Highly recommend it!

Awesome Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay here over Easter Break. It is centrally located, the neighborhood is great, and the kitchen is wonderful and well-stocked. My son attends SDSU, and did not have a Spring Break this year. This property was perfect for us, and gave us an incredible place to hang out, BBQ, play cards, and enjoy beautiful Mission Beach in San Diego. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great spot

This is a great spot close to the bay. It was perfect for our family of 4. Everything is as pictured. Very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Like all the other reviews, parking is not possible. I would recommend having some beach toys in the space instead like paddleboard, kayaks, umbrellas, or bikes. We had to park our van on the street. Keep an eye on the street parking restrictions because they do sweep.
