Won't be returning. Loud room (hotel staff said during previous visit that a quiet studio room existed and to ask for it, I did, and now staff says all studio rooms face the loud traffic on the street). Messaged a day before arrival and requested shuttle time. No response to that specific question (they answered the other question in the same email) so I assumed we were scheduled. Get there and I'm told there's no room at that shuttle. They later let us know there was a cancellation and they could accommodate, however... not a good welcoming. Next morning-- not a drop of hair conditioner. The bottle was huge so this was obviously not checked for many days. This also happened on our last visit. For $430 a nite, we were not impressed. Lesson learned. Finding another hotel even though we had given this one a try at least 5 times.

Location is great, staff in some respect was nice and others were not. The drinks at the bar and the food in the hotel are VERY COSTLY- typical Costa Rica. The pool is EXTREMELY windy and almost un-enjoyable to be at, with very limited seating. Also, unless you plan to be a mall rat, there is not much to do in this area. We’ve stayed here twice now, and I will choose something different if we ever return. Thanks
