This is a good hotel for travellers, like us, staying overnight close to the airport for our homeward flight. There is nothing around the hotel to see, but the hotel itself is pleasant. There was a nice pool to relax in a bit and the hotel bar has some interesting craft beers. The hotel restaurant is simple, but good too. I was also surprised how quiet the hotel was, given it's only a km or 2 from the airport. It was very easy to sleep.

The property was dated and our room was not inviting. The bathroom shower/tub comb was very high and uncomfortable. Not great for tall people. The staff were very nice and the restaurant on site was very good.

This is my favorite place to stay when I’m flying in or out of SJO. Beautiful landscaping, comfortable clean rooms, excellent on site restaurant and transportation to or from the airport. Also very nice pool area. Will return whenever I’m in the area.

I had to find a different hotel at 1:00 in the morning. I went to all of the hotels listed as Hotel Aeropuerto and none of them had a reservation for me and as a consequence I had to find a place to sleep which cost me an additional amount of $248.46 CND. There was no shuttle waiting for me at the airport so besides my initial cost with Expedia I also accumulated an additional $30.00 for taxis. In the end I paid in excess of $400.00 CND and ended up in a very modest room. I believe it would be more than reasonable if I was compensated for money and at 74 years considerable stress.

We asked for a crib to be provided when we made the booking and the listing showed it as an amenity that is included. However, when we arrived and asked for it, a playpen that was not properly packed and stored was given to us, with the mattress missing. When we attempted to assemble it, we discovered it was broken. There was no other crib available so we did not have a safe sleep option for our toddler. The lady at the front desk (short hair and glasses) was not friendly and acted as if it was an inconvenience that we requested a crib. Facilities were not the cleanest and I do not recommend staying here.

We could not enjoy the pool with the noise and stink of the leaf blower going. We ate two meals at the restaurant. It would be nice if there were more options on the menu. Breakfast was very good.

The place is good and clean, and the room is very spacious. The cactus food is tasty. I just wanted to let you know that service to the airport is prompt. If you drive to this place, be aware of the road conditions.

Perfect for our needs.

Helpful staff, huge room, TWO pillows each, shampoo and soaps, a really good restaurant. Hard bed and lots of door slamming, but that’s not the hotels fault.. Beautiful building and grounds. The ride to the airport takes a lot longer than 10 minutes.
