I did not enjoy my stay. Our room and the hotel was right next to a busy hwy. Hwy traffic all night long. It was near the airport—so some plane traffic which I would expect. Leaky bathroom sink got the floor wet. No cushion covers on the furniture in reception. We went for a walk and discovered the Hampton back off the road. Changed our next reservation to there.

Enjoyed having pizza in the rain. They let me store some of my own food in the restaurant fridge as an added bonus, and gave me a free ride to the airport the next morning at 4 am. Nice people, close to the airport.

Very Friendly and Good Value

Very friendly and good value hotel. Great breakfast with excellent service included in price. Flight noise because of proximity to SJO. Only downside was no inbound shuttle and it is easy to get gouged by taxis....

Super clean, nice staff and pool area. Very convenient to airport. Their shuttle only runs on the hour, but they got me a taxi at the time I wanted, for about four dollars to the airport

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Mango the evening of April 22 after having flown into the San Jose airport at a late hour. We chose the hotel because it is very close to the airport and car rental agencies. We took a taxi from the airport, arriving at around 10 pm. Given the late hour, the hotel restaurant was closed, but there are a few restaurants in the area within walking distance. We found the check-in efficient, the hotel to be clean and comfortable and our breakfast the next morning to be very good. Can you hear the planes? Yes. This did not bother us; the occasional times the sound was loud, we just waited until the sound subsided. This was while outside. Inside, we had been able to sleep soundly. We did not have time to take advantage of the pool, but the restaurant and pool area was beautifully landscaped. For what we consider an “airport” hotel, we found Hotel Mango to be reasonably priced and to have a “boho” feel to it. We’d stay there again.

THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE. It is very nice and a convenient trip from the airport. The breakfast was really good as well and complimentary. Front desk staff were very nice, and the air conditioning was very cold. We only stayed for one night but we were very impressed!!
