This location and modern aesthetic cannot be beat in old San Juan. The staff is incredible and made our stay more memorable. With all the local things to do we forgot about the rooftop until our last night and that was a mistake the views are breathtaking. Don’t skip on this hotel if it’s available. Also their cafe has a great latte! A must if you’re staying in old San Juan.

The staff was polite and attentive. We were disappointed to see that the room had no windows, and we were not made aware of that. Also, both restaurants opened for dinner, however none for lunch. Given there was an outdoor swimming pool on the roof, it seems the bar should be open for snacks and refreshments. That was not made clear either.

This was an excellent stay; Alma is a smaller hotel with a unique vibe. The room was furnished very nicely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very quite and clean. It was not beat up or worn out; everything had a high end and new feel. The rooftop patio and restaurant were great and the location is ideal in old San Juan. I stay in San Juan frequently and would recommend this hotel if you want a different experience from some of the larger brand hotels. This is more of a boutique hotel.

Loved the location, amazing rooftop bar, staff were great, very friendly, room was clean and what I loved most was Nespresso machin and they generously provided coffee pods every day. I totally recommend this hotel to everyone.
