Great Stay in the Heart of Old San Juan! This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Old San Juan, surrounded by charming shops, excellent coffee spots, and plenty of restaurants serving delicious traditional Puerto Rican food. It was the ideal base for exploring the historic area. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff was professional and accommodating. While there was no iron or ironing board in the room, they quickly provided a clothes steamer, which was a nice alternative. We had a balcony near the street, which meant it could get a bit loud at times, but the unbeatable location more than made up for it. If you’re driving, there are multiple parking garages within a 5-10 minute walk, so I recommend dropping off your bags before parking. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a short stay.

Very clean, comfortable bed, great price and convenient to all old San Juan. We stayed one night before a cruise and it was perfect to be able to see Old San Juan by walking out our door.

Super quaint!

The Armas Hotel is centrally located. The rooms have been recently renovated. We stayed in a very simple room but it was quite nice. The staff was friendly and super professional. They kept in contact with me via email to confirm checkin and if anything was needed from them. I would stay there again!

Low frills hotel in the best location

Low frills hotel in a great, great location! Everyone was very nice, respectful. The atrium at the center of the hotel was a little noisy from echoing voices and noises, but we brought a sound machine and slept fine. Would stay here again!

DONT STAY HERE ITS LOUD AND THERE ARE NO WINDOWS IN ANY OF THE ROOMS. Pictures show that rooms have windows but they don’t. Only 6 rooms in the whole building have any windows and they’re the suites. Also the thermostat was insanely confusing and bright - impossible to turn off. Lots of drunk college kids yelling all night. Stay away.

Room had no windows and was at the front of the building on the first floor next to the hotel bathroom. Room was clean but it was very loud and across from the cleaners area. You can hear everything outside and everything inside the room can be neat on the outside. Including people urinating in the bathrooms next to us. Overwhelmed was in great shape and clean.

It’s a charming, historic building, newly renovated. Super clean rooms. Its location is in the middle of Old San Juan. The staff are kind and helpful. We stayed four days. We highly recommend this quaint hotel.
