As soon as we walked in we wished we were staying longer than just the one night. When we were leaving the next day, we still felt that way. Such a cool building in a great area of Old San Juan.

Un cuarto con una cama, un baño y una nevera pequeña. Para nosotros fue suficiente ya que estariamos participando de un evento en fin de semana de 3 carreras (Lola Challenge). Queríamos descansar tanto de dia como de noche y para eso el cuarto fue excelente. Silencioso y oscuro al apagar la luz. No utilizamos el staff de limpieza ya que cuando llegaba estábamos durmiendo pero sí fue a limpiar. Maricruz fue muy cordial y estuvo disponible todo el tiempo para atendernos.

We had the traditional studio which is up one short flight of steps and one longer set. If you have mobility issues or struggle with carrying luggage, that might pose a problem. But once up to the room it was very nice. Bed was hard but that is a personal preference. Air conditioning worked great. Unit had a refrigerator. We got our door code the morning of our stay. Prior communication was a bit mixed but that was due to some instructions on the third party booking site that were confusing. Manager was very responsive once I reached out. Location couldn’t have been better for exploring old San Juan.

Place looks tiny from the outside but inside is spacious with 2 courtyards. Beautiful room with great AC. Included towels and beach towels. Bed was soft. Microwave in common area. Mini fridge in room. Shower pressure was just ok, but that isn’t a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are going to be coming in early for a cruise, as they will store your luggage and it’s really close to port. Very clean!

Our stay at Hugo's was perfect in every way! They were so accommodating for us. The building was perfectly situated by the plaza where there was nighttime dancing and music. Walkable all over Old San Juan. Inside things were very clean, quiet and unique. Unique. Glad I didn't go with just another chain hotel. And then the bed... Seriously I was tempted to find the name brand of it. It was so incredibly comfortable!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was our second stay here and we loved it just as much as the first! The property is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and everything in Old San Juan is easily walkable. They are such a great host—very communicative and welcoming. The A/C kept the rooms perfectly cool, everything was super clean, and there’s even a parking garage nearby if you have a rental. Such a great spot—can’t wait to come back again!

Parking is on the street which is crowded. Challenging for someone with a car. Management is very nice and helpful. We stayed in the room at the top floor which is basically rooftop and there is NO elevator. The stairs are steep and narrow. So, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with luggage.The room was clean and comfortable.

It was a really great location. The room did not have a TV for those that would prefer one. No info on the wifi available in the room. The room was clean but the towels smelled like they weren't cleaned, could be a washing machine issue. The best parking was Doña Fela parking down the street (about a 4 minute walk). Other than that it was a great stay. I would stay there again and i would recommend it as well.
