Room with ocean and pier view

We only had one night, but waking up to the beautiful ocean view after a great night's sleep in a very comfy bed - perfect! Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast followed by a walk along the cliff with stunning views before our drive home. We'll be back!

The place is nice and rooms are good but was not aware that there is construction going on so the ocean view and ambience was gone once construction started. It would have been nice to know before booking.

Our room faced the ocean and gazebo on the second floor and it was magnificent! The grounds and the hotel are well maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They delivered a hairdryer at 8pm and despite a brief power outage, the staff was able to communicate the issue and supported people on the grounds. Delicious wrapped cookies were available at night in the lobby and tamales in the morning at the buffet! The best part was a complimentary bottle of wine from Expedia placed in our room. Overall, we had an amazing anniversary at an exceptional and friendly place on the cliff watching the dolphins play in the ocean from our balcony. Thank you!

Our first room was very nice, but right above the dining area and was a bit noisy in the morning. We asked to move rooms because of that and they did so with no problems. Our second room was just as nice and quiet in the mornings. Amazing views and a very nice staff.

We were in town for Cal Poly’s admit dat/open house weekend and hotels in San Luis Obispo were either sold out or nearly the same cost of oceanfront hotel in Pismo so we opted for the sea & beach views! Prime prime location for stunning coastal views- you have the Pismo pier to your left and the cliffs and rocks to your right. We had a first floor oceanfront in the main building and absolutely loved it. Enjoyed the patio chairs with a glass of wine- watched the sunset from there 2 nights, “worked” from the fire pit chairs another time. The included breakfast was more than adequate for us- with both hot food options and continental. Also, the team that work the breakfast buffet work SO hard! Please tip!! Enjoyed the on-site hot tub and pool. We didn’t miss being in downtown Pismo- though no strikes against DT Pismo stays as we have enjoyed our times there too. trailhead to Pismo Preserve is just across the street from hotel so that was a very nice plus. All in all a fantastic stay- and we would stay again!

I drove from LA to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday at the hotel. The hotel offered me special service in my room. But when I got to my room, there was no special service for my boyfriend's birthday. The room is very small. My room, 210, had a partial view of the hotel. The air conditioning wasn't working. We called maintenance to have it fixed. Afterward, the air conditioning was very noisy. It really wasn't a good experience.
