The bed was too hard. A softer mattress would have given us a better nights sleep. The bathroom door was too tight in proximity to the toilet and shower door. Being 2026, it would help if the room had USB connections for charging cell phones.

The rooms were very clean but really need to be redone. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location is great. The internal courtyard with the pool is a wonderful place to unwind and calm down.

The hotel was better than i expected. The secure parking area behind the hotel was an added benefit. The only thing thatbi didn't like was the mini split air did not put out heat and the staff left the common doors open while the temperature outside was just a few degrees above freezing.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived as they rushed to gather our belongings and took them straight to our rooms once we checked in. The rooms were better than we even imagined with plenty of space around the King bed and lots of furniture for us to organize our clothes for our stay. The bathroom was extra spacious. The grounds of the hotel itself was like a beautiful hacienda compound. All around were communal spaces perfect for large groups or couples to gather as if we were all catching up at a family reunion. The live music on Saturday night in the hotel bar was our favorite little memory. San Miguel's centro was quite nice but our favorite spots were all right around our hotel. Felt like a home away from home!
