Extremely friendly staff, comfortable bed, ample parking, modern bathroom. Thin walls, uninspired breakfast (hot and cold choices), funky smell in room. A room with a view! (See photo) Would stay here again.

Here's the headline: this unassuming hotel in a not-very-busy part of Ohio is way better than it has any right to be. Sure, it's conveniently located but that's just the start. It's staffed by friendly, capable people who seem to actually care about the quality of your stay. They have Costa Coffee machines that, at a moment's notice at any time day or night will grind fresh beans and brew you a cup of coffee right quick. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. We're talking little omelettes (regular and egg white), granola and several kinds of yogurt, sausage gravy and biscuits, a robot that kicks out two pancakes at a time on demand, and delicious cinnamon rolls. The rooms are clean and just the right size. The in-shower dispensers have Dove body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. One thing to note, they are indeed seriously pet friendly (everyone seemed happy to see our pups!) but there is a pet fee of $50 flat (no matter the length of the stay). We happily paid it though because I know having pets means extra cleaning is needed. The only thing I wished they had was an electric car charging station, which seems almost like a natural thing they could do with the car dealership right next door. Maybe someday. But seriously, this place is fantastic and we will be back!

It was dark when we arrived and there was NO LIGHTING in the parking lot. Manager said something about the timer was malfunctioning but they would come on by 8:15 which they did but by then we were already unloaded. I specifically asked for a receipt at check in and was assured I would get one when I checked out in the morning. Didn't happen. Desk girl was unable to figure out how to get a print out. Assured me she would email me one. It's been 14 hours and still nothing. Called and asked for manager. Not in. Left voicemail but still waiting for her call. Very disappointed in her attitude and willingness to solve the problem. I asked her to call someone to help and she said she didn't want to wake up the manager.

Trey at the front desk was great and Tammy in the breakfast dining was super great. I enjoyed seeing her every morning and look forward to seeing her again in November at my stay. She made sure everything was stocked if it was available. And was upset my last day because things were missing and not available for her to put out. That was not her fault and is a problem she should not have.

The clerk at the desk was nice and welcoming, but she had some isuses with the printer which took a little longer than expected. She was great getting me in earlier though since I was told check in was at 3 pm.
