This was our first time at this hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. They have coffee in the lobby and there is a lounge (unfortunately, we did not check it out on this visit). It is at the beginning of the main street for Solvang and within walking distance of pretty much everything in the city (depending on how much you like to walk). We enjoyed the amenities in the room. There is onsite parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything is in walking distance. The rooms are nice. The staff was very accommodating! They do have a nice wine bar downstairs. My most important thing is they were very dog friendly!

this place is decent it definitely has an odor like moister or old wood to it. our room was clean and kept organize. staff was friendly and pleasant to talk to. the pictures online are probably newer rooms. overall the stay was okay

Great location. We went on a busy weekend. It appears they outsource housekeeping and were understaffed given the volume of check-ins. The staff were nice but had to deal with some unhappy customers. Great lounge, heated pool and hot tub. Not bad for the price.

Carpet needs cleaning. Our toddler wore white socks while walking around the room and the carpet was definitely not clean. Bed was soft. Got two free breakfast vouchers thru expedia silver status. The vouchers were for a bakery down the block; the breakfast was for a pastry, a piece of bread, coffee, and juice. The parking garages are small but are under the buildings which was good since it was raining on our night. Getting luggage to our room required us to carry it up a small flight of stairs to get to the elevators. Alternative would be to lug it around the building and into the main entrance. The window was broken. There was a gap between the window panes which let in a draft and the noise from the street. There was coffee at the lobby but we didn't see any water. Convenient spot. Fortunately it was close to the hamburger spot that appeared to be the only thing open on Christmas night. It was a short walking distance to the downtown area.

Vinland was very short on staff the day we checked in. Our room was not ready till 6:30PM. This was happing to all the guests that were checking in this Monday afternoon. The bathtubs glaze coating was peeling off. And there were some permanent wear markings on the carpeting. We liked the location, and the hotel seemed to be rated well. But it was a bust for us.

The staff there were very nice. The hotel lobby was clean and presentable. The room that we stayed in had a couple things in the room that were broken. We brought up the concerns to the hotel staff and the staff member did offer to call maintenance. The room was spacious and the hotel is in a convenient location. We were off walking distance to shops and restaurants.
