Nice hotel in Cochagua Valley

Very nice hotel in Colchagua Valley , close to La Ruta del Vino where you can taste most of the best chilean wines. Good hotel , the only thing I didn't like was the room with carpet, tile would be much better. Don't miss restaurant La Famiglia de Santis just a block away and Viña Santa Cruz just 15 miles from the hotel.

a very pleasant stay with very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. if you come by car on a busy weekend, you may have trouble in parking inside and will need valet parking to park the car at a secure outside facility from the same hotel. to get it next morning may take a while.

The property is very well located. It is a beautiful building with comfortable rooms and a great service. Breakfast buffet is awesome. Never had a comparable experience in another other hotel. The amount of food and the variety was huge including chilean typical plates. The personnel is very helpful and knowledgeable. The wine tour at Viña Sta Cruz was a rich experience with wine tasting and spectacular views of the vineyard. The Museo de Colchagua is a 5 stars including history of our World during BC period and pre and post Columbus time. Plus chilean history, folklore and handcraft articles. In a summary an amazing experience to be repeated in the future.

Hotel is mostly fine. The room is ok but the bathrooms are uncomfortable. The hotel has a museum attached to it that it’s truly interesting. The restaurant I s fine and breakfast is good. Our last night they apparently planned some repairs in the room above use so at 2 in the morning we had enough and had to get dress and go to the lobby to complain, few minutes latter they stopped the work.

The hotel is old but has some nice features. The food in the restaurant on the first night was excellent. The 2nd night service was terrible. They got the order wrong and only brought 1 meal out even after the order was the same, they brought the wrong potato’s out and I never got any food. We complained the safe wasn’t working on the first day. That has not been repaired by the time we left. The towels were awful and had seen better days. They gave us 2 small bath towels and 1 hand towel between the 2 of us. Sadly I would not recommend this venue. Just awful and spoiled our trip to Santa Cruz.
No room service, even after speaking to reception at 1830hrs. Came back to room at 10pm. Still not cleaned. Went to reception who were useless. Wanted to clean the room at 10pm
Just dumped fresh towels in the bathroom and didn’t clean the room after complaining to reception at 1830hrs
Never replenished the Coffee or fresh cups. 2 days of cups left untouched. No facility for making tea. I don’t drink coffee only tea.
