Welcome to Casa Puerta Azul, a charming and thoughtfully appointed Santa Fe retreat located in the highly desirable Park Plazas neighborhood.

Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac shaded by mature trees, this peaceful community offers 8 miles of walking paths with mountain views, plus coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Guests are also minutes from the Chavez Community Center, featuring a pool, ice rink, fitness facilities, and classes at reasonable rates.

Enter through the enclosed front courtyard and iconic blue door, where sweet gum and cherry trees create a shady outdoor welcome. Inside, the home reflects the spirit of Santa Fe—colorful décor, original artwork, books, music, and inviting spaces designed for comfort and relaxation.

The living room features high-beamed ceilings with round vigas, skylights, built-in bookcases, and a wood-burning kiva fireplace. Comfortable seating and a Smart TV (Netflix included) make it an ideal gathering space. French doors open to a fully enclosed rear courtyard with a second kiva fireplace, outdoor dining area, barbecue, and lush plantings—perfect for enjoying Santa Fe’s beautiful climate in every season.

The dining area seats six, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a new induction stove and everything needed for home-cooked meals. A breakfast table overlooking the front courtyard offers a lovely spot for morning coffee.

A large private office just off the living room includes French doors for privacy and a queen futon, making it ideal for remote work or additional sleeping space.

The primary suite is a private retreat featuring a luxury king bed with split controls, elevation, and massage functions. The room includes a Smart TV, high ceilings, and peaceful courtyard views. The newly remodeled en-suite bath offers a spacious walk-in shower and double sinks.

The second bedroom features another king bed and access to a full hall bath with tub and shower. A third private office space sits just off this bedroom and includes its own entrance from the front courtyard—perfect for guests needing extra privacy or a quiet workspace.

Please note that no recreational vehicles, campers, motor homes, or boats are to be kept on or about the property per HOA regulations.

This is a gem. It was its own little peaceful place with tons of walking and places to be in nature. The house itself had everything you can imagine and it made you feel very luxe. What a delightful place to land in Santa Fe.

A walker's paradise!

This home in Santa Fe was centrally located, which made getting around town and the surrounding area very easy. We (and our dog!) especially liked the many miles of walking trails throughout the complex. Numerous skylights throughout the home created a bright and cheery atmosphere. The back patio area was roomy and well appointed......and well used!

Adorable home

This property is tucked away in a very quiet community. Close to everything yet the front and back fenced yards offer tremendous privacy. The house offers the quaint Santa Fe charm that we were seeking. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Behind the Blue Gate

We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was fully furnished. We brought way too many household items since our hostess did not answer questions we asked her several times about the house. Other than that, it was pretty much perfect for a pleasant stay in Santa Fe..

A Great Place

We loved our time at this property. You couldn't ask for better hosts - responded quickly to a couple small things that came up. The location is wonderful and the neighbors were friendly. We enjoyed the walking paths and took advantage of those almost everyday. We love Santa Fe and all the history and things to do in that area.

Terrific experience in a beautiful house

The house is a beautiful place in a lovely neighborhood. Sue and the owner were helpful and super-responsive - the oven thermostat went on the girth, and in a few days a new one was purchased and installed. We had an excellent experience, and look forward to returning next spring.
