This property is outdated and in need of immediate renovation. No elevator, frayed carpet everywhere, no refrigerator(as promised), no coffee maker(as promised), sterile environment (no pictures, etc. in hallways or rooms), ice machine not working, grounds have weeds 3 and 4 feet tall, ice machines not working, interior courtyard the worst I have ever seen, and I could go on. I will say the bed sheets appeared clean and the bathroom appeared clean. I would never stay here again, and would say to stay at a brand name hotel before you ever stayed at this independent hotel.

Overall, not bad.

Overall, not a bad place. The only thing is that my reservation was accidentally booked for the wrong dates when I arrived so having to figure it out through hotels.com customer service, it happened to pass midnight because we drove in and got in later than expected so needless to say, between the agent on the phone/chat and the front desk person, it was quite an experience. But we figured it out and the rest of the stay went pretty well until it rained and the hall flooded out so it smelled really bad for a couple days.

I don’t know how this property has any positive reviews. The exterior is so dilapidated it looks abandoned - weeds growing everywhere, holes in the building, peeling paint. The person who checked me in could not have been less interested or welcoming. My room stank of extremely strong cleaning chemicals - I opened the window to air it out but the screen was torn and there were people from the adjacent motel hanging around the car park. The bedding was dirty, the carpets were stained, the fridge was broken and the door could not be locked from the inside. As a solo woman I felt extremely unsafe - there were no women or families - all the guests seemed to be male laborers. The area is also very seedy. After 3 hours I bailed - my eyes were so sore from the chemicals there was no way I could stay. Very upset to have wasted money in this horrible place but was lucky enough to find lovely accommodation closer to central Santa Fe. Do not stay here!

The overall experience wasn't absolutely awful. But the "clean" pillowcases had stains on them at the edges. The building itself was very rundown and had a slight musty smell. I'm not sure if they had recently purchased the building and were renovating it or something. But either way first impressions were pretty poor. Customer service was very Spartan and not particularly warm. I definitely did not feel super comfortable there. And I will not come back.

The staff was excellent and our room was clean, however, there were no tables, chairs, or refrigerators, which made our extended stay during a family crisis less than stellar. But the staff found an office chair for us, and the location was convenient and the price right.

This hotel is in need of some TLC. There are weeds all over the property, the pool is empty, exterior doors don’t function properly (either don’t work or don’t lock), the room had no mini-fridge or smoke detector (it was hard wired with the base intact but no actual smoke detector) the faucet was pulled away from the shower wall and the beds were hard. On a positive note, the staff was friendly.

Lack of communication among the workers. One person when I got there set me up in front by the Office I came minutes later and through me all the way to the back. It was very unsafe, the Security doors on the side and back wouldn't close or lock properly.

Bed was firm. Room was average. Just a few little unsatisfied disadvantages. No refrigerator, coffee maker had no filter encloser, phone was not working, discovered it was un plugged. Door to enter in the hotel from parking was not working, had to walk back around to enter another entrance. Did report all at check out. Hopefully these will be addressed. Stay was average.
