The casita, just off Don Diego Ave, is 1/2 mile to the Railyard District, 3/4 mile to the world famous downtown Santa Fe Plaza where shopping, dining, and gallery browsing awaits. Also walk to Trader Joe’s and other stores at the Coronado Center, Clafoutis French Cafe, Maria’s Mexican Kitchen, Santa Fe Antiques and Flea Market, and Salvador Perez Park (“the train park” - vintage Santa Fe RR locomotive on site, playground, sand volleyball, multi-purpose fields, and picnic tables).
The casita features traditional Santa Fe ceiling beams, and was completely renovated in 2018, including hardwood bamboo floors; bathroom cabinetry,; new kitchen appliances, tile counter tops, sink and subway tile backsplash. New to this condo are a Bosch dishwasher and Kenmore washer and dryer. A new walk in shower was added in 2022. All the modern conveniences are here in this home away from home. The bedroom has a comfy Tempurpedic queen bed, a tall chest of drawers for storing your things, and a vanity for makeup prep. In the living room, amenities include a queen-sized, memory-foam sleeper sofa, a desk for computer work, and a kitchen table. In the summer, the condo is cooled by an evaporative cooling system (A/C is rare in Santa Fe homes), in the winter, gas heating keeps the condo toasty warm. Relax outside on your own private patio, grill up some dinner, or create a romantic ambience by activating the casita’s light dimmer switches. Kitchen includes coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, margarita-making essentials, dishes, pots and pans and more.
