Le falta mucho mantenimiento en general a la propiedad, las habitaciones, el spa sauna y vapor. El aire acondicionado no funciona bien en la habitación y no hay en espacio como el restaurante buffet. La comida en buffet no se ve nada antojable a la vista. La comida de los restaurantes de especialidad sí está muy rica y la playa es hermosa.

I like the staff specially this guy at Tia Rosa Restaurant, Tomas Garcia, he was so attentive, that’s why we always have breakfast in the same place, plus food was yummy 😋

The hotel is nice but i want it an adults only property expidia show it to as adult only but is not,the only adult area is one pool with the bar,and the hotel needs to put a little mpre effort in controling the pool bed because people wake up and set stuff on top of the beds to separate them,the rules state not to do it but people don’t care and belive i wake up very early and respect it the rule the first day and i end up with no bed at the pool,food is good and very good service,Benny at the bar is a great guy,derseve to be recognize,i try some boat services out the hotel and it was excellent Osmar Lopez treated us like rollalty,you can find him at the hotel beach,Huatulco is very quiet not recommended to young people there’s no night life.the tongolunda beach is almost like open sea,theres other areas like Playa La Entrega,playa maguey the u can swim very nice areas overall my wife love Huatulco but for me i think need it more entertainment

The staff was great. The property was good. The big negative for us was the fact that we couldn’t control the temperature of our room. The thermostat was controlled by the hotel and the temperature was set at 75 degrees which was warm. Had a difficult time sleeping the first night couple of nights due to the warm temperature. I called the help desk and was told that due to hotel being part of the green initiative they could not make room cooler. They sent someone to the room but all he did was made the fan rotate a little faster which didn’t help.

The food options varied from the fancy restaurants with the unfairly strict dress code to Rosas buffet in which in many cases had been over capacity and entailed a lengthy wait along with the added two hours in between breakfast,lunch and dinner.The food options were realitvley similar until dinner in which it cycled through a few cultural cuisines but even then it still was similar to any other day not counting some options. Rooms and bed staff were marvelous and very friendly and absolutely accomadating if anything was ever needed. However the biggest issue was the complication as well as the protocols with the bracelet method. Whilst staying at the hotel there were instances in which you could feel the color of your bracelet indicated the quality of your stay. As anyone would have a problem with this much of the front desk staff have no solutions and or sympathy. A hotel that stands at 5 stars should catter to all its guests and not the amount of money within their pockets. I would never go back because instead of experiencing a relaxing family vacation I was forced to endure unfair, unjust protocols one after another.

Overall we thought it really good! On elevator not working was inconvenient but the staff was accommodating. Also, the Italian restaurant was really poor service & I had to take my daughter to get food at their regular buffet restaurant because they had not put in her order (nor asked about her when they delivered her brothers food). The resort overall is not child friendly and really miss on catering to families with younger children like us. We really loved the entertainment. They were really good, energetic, and always delivered an excellent show at the theater. The singers are fantastic & dancers are non stop fun! We’d go again once our kids are older.
