Stayed at many Comforts, this one was so-so. Hot tub was gross, room was not cleaned the best (could tell they didn't clean the shower & sink very well, found previous guests earring and soap residue left on soap dish), and the breakfast was minimal at best. Honestly though, this is the best place we have stayed at in NM for our road trips. Usually they are a stay and go, quickly place with little functioning. This one just needs a bit more.

It was overall a nice short stay. However, the rooms were a little dated. Which wouldn't normally be a problem, but some calking/sealent in the shower was coming apart and there were a couple other things in the room that had been aged that could have been fixed but werent.

Don't stay in the pet king room

Very comfortable room. They booked us in the king room for pets, even though we didn't have pets. They didn't bill us extra. The bed cover had stains all over it. A small stain on the bed sheet. The room was a bit stuffy and smelled like urine. Otherwise, the stay was good.

They could use some help at this location, person working, no towels available, long line at cashier, but otherwise good. Lots of parking (we needed it). Great restaurant across the street. That alone was worth the stay!

Excellent parking availability for larger vehicles or vehicles towing trailers. Bed linens were clean. Mattress a bit hard. Bathroom cleanliness was an issue. There were dark splatters of something above the door and down low on the front of the tub, along with a few hairs in the same area on the tub. Ceiling needs to be washed above the tub. Inside of the bathroom door needs a good wipe-down. Shower walls showed streaks. Tub did not drain well. I don’t know how the tub can be cleaned well with such slow draining. Three of the four bath towels had bad stains. Breakfast was fine and breakfast area was well attended and kept clean. We would probably not stay here again.

Santa Rosa, NM is famous for The Blue Hole - scuba certification, but there is also a lot more to see. Staying at the comfortable Comfort Inn allows easy access to all activities and easy, free parking. Each room also has a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker so it is comfortable for longer stays.
