Small Crowded Room

The hotel had a musty smell when I first walked in the front doors. Check in went smoothly with a $250 deposit/hold for incidentals. This room was called "premier" but there was nothing premier about it. It was the smallest, crowded room I have ever stayed in with a queen bed and one nightstand. Good thing we only stayed for one night! Walking in the room the door almost hit the luggage stand which was next to the desk, against the fridge and next to the wardrobe cabinet. The left side of the bed didn't have a nightstand, so i put the chair between the wall & bed to use for my phone and glasses at night. Budget Hotel quality!

I chose Heritage Inn because it was inexpensive, had positive reviews, and was super-close to the airport. The photos looked really nice, and was convenient to restaurants as well as having one on-site. Check-in was a breeze, everything was as I selected in my online booking, and the front desk staff were so pleasant I had to highlight their friendliness. My room was perfect for my needs since I was only staying one night, and I appreciated being on the third floor as a solo guest. I chose to have dinner in the restaurant and I had the place to myself! The restaurant staff were lovely; they didn't hover, but were still attentive. The French Dip sandwich was really tasty; finally someone put enough horseradish on it, and they did NOT skimp on the beef & mushrooms. I slept great, it was quiet, the bedding was pristine white and clean, and the bed & pillows were so comfy, I decided to skip the included breakfast to sleep a little longer. The hotel architecture is an older style but has been remodelled and has a great open feel to it. It's quite the hidden gem, in my opinion. I'd happily stay there again the next time I'm in Saskatoon.

We stayed two nights our room was not cleaned in between and we were not given any more shampoo and conditioner. When I asked, I waited about 20 minutes and then I was only given shampoo. They need to have conditioner as well.

Looks beautiful when you walk into the building, and the staff was super friendly! unfortunately our room was definitely dated. But the bed was extremely comfy! Noticed lots of homeless people in areas not far from the hotel, but none on the property. Probably wouldn’t stay again at paying $160 a night.
