We stayed here with our toddler for Rotaryfest 2025. We’ve stayed at the hotel before just ourselves. This room was clean, very spacious. The guests next to us however were pounding on the wall at 6:00pm I’m assuming to tell us to keep it down when our toddler wad playing. She was just playing with a beach ball and giggling and laughing. It happened again an hour later. No fault to the hotel, it was just kind of disappointing as we felt the need to tell her to be quiet constantly and it wasn’t an unreasonable hour. The last time we stayed here we had a few issues with cleanliness but this time it was spot on. We also had a great meal at the Soo Blaster located in the hotel. Our daughter played at the arcade as well.

Great location - very walkable to most of the tourist spots. Room quite dated, well equipped overall but with some broken furniture. Friendly staff. Our last night there was a heavy metal band playing in the hotel (no prior warning of this anywhere). Our room was quite literally shaking from the music right up to 10pm - unacceptable with young children in a family room. Front desk weren't able to offer any solution other than that they would address it with the manager in the morning. We never heard anything since.

On our way through the Sault

We were on our way through to Winnipeg and this was a one night stay. The location is lovely right by the water, where you can go for a nice walk along the boardwalk. There is also a mall across the street. There is parking that is covered and right behind the hotel, very convenient. The room was clean and the people were very nice. The condition of the hotel was a little rough. The room had old furniture. The TV did not work (we called the desk, someone came and tried to get it to work but was unable to do so. It was really an internet issue with Rogers so not their fault) They had updated the bathroom- which was nice), the sleeping area was tide/clean but needed a much overdue refurnishing. The breakfast was the standard breakfast and we had a few options to choose from, my only comment would be that they could use more fruit other then just oranges. The hotel served its purpose and if you need a one night on your way through, its a good value.
