The building is under renovation. There is no way this hotel should be showing 8.5 on Expedia. I was extremely upset & not happy with this reservation whatsoever. The pics are NOT whag it looks like. All the seats in the seating area had the seat parts torn off. Both bathrooms in the waiting area had "out of order" signs. The elevator control pad was broken with pieces missing. The building inside was very hot. The pool's water was nasty looking and it was "out of service" so we couldnt go swimming like we intended to, nor was there any notice on the website or expedia stating this. My shower was disgusting. There were SEVERAL pieces of hair in the tub area, to include hair stuck all over and in the shower curtain. The shower head had red and crusty build-up inside of it. The A/C came out very cold, which was great, but the plastic cover on the a/c was half way off. The supposed ice room was an empty room with 3 closets and a ladder going towards the roof. The only decent thing I can say about this hotel is that the bed was comfortable & appeared to be decently clean. Almost all the other people staying there that I came across were also disgusted and upset with the conditions of the hotel. However, it was non-refundable and now I see why. I will NEVER stay here again nor will I EVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

This property is under construction. The room was fine and recently renovated. The breakfast was basically non-existent. What turned me off was the front desk person. Our flight got in late so we just got a hotel before going to Hilton Head. The girl at the front desk didn’t even say hello. She was unfriendly and we couldn’t even understand her when she spoke. It was strange. We wanted a glass of wine or a beer and they had nothing so we went to Hilton Garden Inn across the street and the lady there was so great. I wanted to move. LOL!

Overall it was fine. Would have been nice to be notified of renovation. Notice on the door that they did not have adequate fire sprinklers. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly, likely due to renovating the doors and not lining them up. Giant room next to ours with foam board taped up over it. Had swimming pool towels rather than bath towels in our room. Room was nice, but they should at least let you know.

Not enough

There were not enough cleaning staff and therefore the rooms are never ready when you check in, even when you arrive at 9pm. Also the staff at the front desk do not communicate that clearly so they make you wait without knowing what is going on. Once you get the room, the room is really nice and comfortable. Breakfast is good but not a lot of choice.

Front desk girl Day 1 unhelpful and couldn't care less. Ignored request for help. Rotted/moldy shower head. Shower on/off handle not updated and doesn't regulate water temp. Tub downspout 1 inch away from wall. Poor shower water pressure. Preset temp of water barely warm. Floor in bathroom not clean. No hangars. No drawers for clothes. Ice machines inoperable. Old tub discolored and chipped. No hooks in bathroom to hang towels. Ripped shower curtain. One normal size washcloth, one the size of a baby washcloth. Never again. One stay and done.
