Built in 1899, this adorned and lovingly restored home offers the best of both worlds; Charming Historic details, such as original wood floors, ornate crown molding, while featuring modern, comfortable furnishings and finishes. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, everyone is welcome at Savannah Escape, including your sweet pups! Once you park your vehicle in one of the multiple private, off-street parking spaces, you'll enter via an electronic lock into your sweet home away from home to begin your vacation.

The first level is made for entertaining, which consists of the main gathering space, formal dining room, the completely remodeled kitchen, and a full-size bathroom. Boasting with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows, the gathering room offers an ample amount of plush, comfortable seating for everyone. The formal dining room conjoins, but can be closed off with a set of ornate, historic pocket doors, if you're looking for a more intimate dinner. Easy for serving, the kitchen is just at the back of the home and is truly equipped with all essentials needed to prepare home-cooked meals, cocktails, and so much more!

You'll find all three bedrooms on the second level, where no detail has been spared. Two of the bedrooms offer King size beds, with plenty of space to store your personal belongings, and smart televisions. The quaint, yet charming third bedroom offers a Queen size bed. The luxurious full bathroom at the front of the home is the perfect place to reset by taking a hot, steamy shower, in the large walk-in shower.

Out back, your TRUE oasis awaits! A rarity here in Savannah, this large backyard is the perfect space to let your pups, children, or even adults play. At dusk, relax under the magical cafe lights, or join together on the back screened porch for an evening round of drinks. You'll never want to leave this Savannah Escape, but when you do decide to venture out, you'll be a short walk from amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and Forsyth Park!

What is parking like for this home?
Private Parking: There is an ample amount of off-street, private parking, next to the home where guests can park side-by-side and tandem.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

Very welcoming, great house. Anderson St is a little busy at rush hr & the stairs are steep and long but yard was great, location is great, house was very comfortable with updated bathrooms. AC and heat (yes, used both due to a sudden coldfront) worked great. Very pet friendly which was awesome.

There were several areas that did not meet our expectations. First there was a murder down the street right upon our arrival. The house was a little further away from going on than indicated. There was no welcoming information when arriving. The toilet products left were few. The bathing towels were like sandpaper. No soap dishes in either bathroom. You put the soap right on the counter where it slims all over. There were no blankets for the pull out couch. It was extremely loud at night on the street with traffics making it very difficult to sleep. One night neighbors behind the house got into a verbal exchange for 20 minutes where we almost had to call the police. Both homes on the left and right were condemned. Shall I go on! So it in no way lived up to our expectations.

We had a great stay. It was our annual cousins week and we enjoyed the house. The only thing we noticed was the front bedroom is noisy - but we had ceiling fan on so it pretty much buffed it. All the bedrooms are upstairs so if you have any climbing challenges this might not work for you. I would suggest that there be a notebook with places to go - how to use the tv’s , etc., what to do when you leave - i know you can go on line to look for it, but would be more convenient to have something to look at when arriving. All in all it was very nice.

The house was very nice and clean. It was a little further from Forsyth Park then I was imagining. We never used the kitchen but the table was nice and big and the living room furniture was comfortable. It was a little hard getting into the key box but other than that check in was great. Loved the screened in back porch, that was definitely the highlight of the house. Rooms were comfortable. Very nice having a place to park.

Perfect house for a weekend in Savannah

We had a great time at the house. It was spotless and came with everything you would need. Even the small details like having a dog bed ready was very thoughtful! The location was perfect to get to different parts of Savannah easily.

Wonderful stay!!

Lucky Savannah was perfect for our Savannah vacay! 10/10 recommend. House was large with lots of room to spread our or all hang in the backyard or living room. Will visit again!

Great Experience

We had a great stay at this property in Savannah! Being walking distance to Forsyth Park was great. The house and yard were clean and comfortable. Private parking was convenient, and we noticed plenty of free street parking available as well. Overall a great stay, would return!

Good location!

Well-restored and decorated. Love the gray and white color scheme. Spent a lot of time on the back porch ... relaxing greenery to see and helpful ceiling fan to cool us. Busy street, but not too noisy. We had to buy a battery for the fan, a can opener, scissors, and a screwdriver (to open battery compartment for a game). House could use a small tool box. The Savannah coffee packet left for us was great!

Potential, but Flawed

The House has potential, but needs some attention: Stayed for a week to explore Savannah, location is good, off street parking a plus.The hoses on left and right are not occupied or in the process of repair.The yard was overgrown and front porch area very dirty. Inside is ok, a dining chair was missing and the back porch was also dirty and unkempt. Beds were comfortable, communication with management was not the best (took 3 days to explain where the garbage bins were ...in the lane/ back of backyard on different street)Super steep steps up to both bedrooms, so make sure people in your party are mobile.

Birthday Getaway

Traveled the end of February. House was warm and cozy and had everything we needed. We had our weather concerns but the inviting screened in porch couldn't keep us inside and was used for breakfast and late-night sittings. Location was great and the parking was perfect. Management was very helpful. We all enjoyed our stay and loved the home!!!!!

Failed Expectations

The plus of this property is on site parking. Did not feel safe in the neighborhood but not familiar with area. We also thought a plus would be the fenced back yard but it was full of weeds and mud. We had two small service dogs. Porch furniture dirty, porch dirty, and it leaked bad when it rained. One king bed railing kept coming off. Very poor toilet paper throughout! Yikes! All pillows very lacking in comfort. First two nights no TV’s would work… Joseph from Lucky Savannah was awesome in attempting to help but when he contacted owner she stated she had no time to help! Some of our time was wasted in dealing with the situation. Found nothing special or attention to detail and we stay in many VRBO homes. To charge those prices one wouid expect more… especially decent paper products. Was excited but many failed expectations!
