The hotel, its facilities, staff and overall way it’s run was truly awful. From the outside, the hotel looks lovely. As soon as you walk in, the hotel disappoints. Do not go for the cheapest room. They are like something from the 70s and are in desperate need of attention. Save the money, go to premier inn. After complaining, we upgraded to a premium room. Again, carpets threadbare, paint peeling from walls, stains on bathroom floor, and furniture that had paint peeling off it. We stuck it out as no other rooms available. The bed was relatively comfortable. The next morning at breakfast the shambles continued. Not enough staff on duty, not enough food available as they were slow to cook and bring more out, watered down juice, and staff who were totally fed up being complained to. What looks a lovely hotel turned out to be truly awful. Save your money, do not stay here

Great for Eskimos! We booked a four poster room, and got charged for the pleasure, but didn’t get that room - we got a very very cold and tired room on the top floor, which failed to heat up despite the small electric heater being turned on. Complained and got refunded £10 … insult to injury! Food was terrible. Overall absolutely awful.

Whole place needs a little spruce up.Lots of rough finishing and unfinished areas in the gym making it look scruffy. Equipment in gym is great though. Matress in room 108 has seen better days. Shower head was full of limescale.

Parking was very easy, simple check in and quick, facilities are all good for a short stay so ideal for me. One small first world problem though.....the room was big and the TV was very small so it wasnt ideal to sit in bed watching from such a distance.

The room was very clean. We ate there which was good food. The breakfast we went down late and a lot had ran out -juice yoghurt etc but the English hot food was good. We paid a very good rate and value for money was excellent
