Le Huard is located in Sayabec in the Matapédia Valley formed by the Chic-Chocs Mountains, on the shores of Lac Matapédia. You will fall in love with this village in Bas-Saint-Laurent. A dream destination for lovers of water sports and hiking.

Take advantage of your visit to the region to practice the various nautical activities on the lake, which is 19 km long and 3 km wide between Sayabec and Amqui. Fishing, sailing and windsurfing are very popular! You can use the ramp for your boat almost in front of the chalet or from Pierre-Brochu Park. For swimming, stop at Baie-de-Charlie. You will find there a beach and playground for children. An ideal day outdoor! Discover the different trails for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and Fatbike. The Mic-Mac Trails offer you different routes of different durations.
