We are frequent summer visitors to their restaurant who decided to book a night to celebrate a birthday. The property is beautifully renovated, staff very nice and immaculately clean. Too cold to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor fire pits but their indoor facilities including beautiful pool, hot tub and well equipped game room provided all we needed.

The Lake Schroon Lodge

Overall it was a good stay. The room was nice, the balcony had a lovely view. The breakfast was overpriced and disappointing. It was a basic continental style, but cost what a sit-down-made-to-order cafe might. The service was great though. Everyone was friendly, and check in was ready to go when I arrived.

We have been multiple times now and really enjoy the property and area. Beautiful lake and some local things to do and it is centrally located to many surrounding areas. Staff has been great each time. The most recent visit it was obvious they have continued to improve the guest experience with new activities that we did experience on prior visits. It is obvious there has been a large investment in the property. But the one negative is the main hotel rooms feel a bit like a dormitory. They aren’t bad by any means but there is just something missing, not getting that warm “lodge” feeling from it but certainly not a deal breaker. We will be staying again.

Great facilities and staff. Avoid breakfast as the food quality is really poor compared to nearby options. Not a deterrent for me, would still stay here again, just without breakfast.

First of all, the staff at the hotel was super friendly. Check in was smooth and very quick. My room was huge, clean and warm enough for the cold weather. I made a reservation at the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious and tasty. I loved my stay!
