Nice place to stay, clean and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Only negative was limited control over the temperature of the room. It was hot in the room overnight making it hard to sleep comfortably.

Older property (think 1955) that has recently been refurbished. Surprisingly quiet since it's on the main drag. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping; walkable. Must use adjacent city parking lot when motel is full (26 rooms; 19 spaces). Room was pleasant and clean.

The property location is perfect. Walking distance to everything. Our king room first floor with patio is amazing. Room totally updated, comfortable, and felt very safe. Gorgeous views! Check in was seamless. Parking a bit of a headache..

Location is great, the bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Reception staff was aloof and not personalbe, the parking situation in the afternoon is stressful and poor. The room above us didn't respect quite hours and stomped around each morning starting at 5 am. You have to request daily maid service when it should be automatic considering the price point. This is more of a motel vibe rather than what you would expect from a pricey hotel. You're paying for the location and mountain view.

We absolutely loved our stay at Matterhorn Inn. We stayed in the Owls Nest and it was so clean, spacious, and had incredible views. We took advantage of the grab-and-go breakfast, hot tub, and yard games. It was also very close to many shops and places to eat! Very convenient location. The next time we visit Sedona, we will definitely stay at Matterhorn Inn again.
