Great Unique Space

The space was really unique and cool, we really enjoyed it! It was clean, there was about a 10 degree temperature difference you could adjust to your comfort, and the bed was very comfortable. A few hours beforehand, the local contact reached out and gave us a direct way to ask questions or report any hiccups. We brought our dog and we loved having access to the fenced-in back yard, it was great she could be off-leash. One quick note, the check in directions say that the key is in the vestibule between the doors, but the lockbox is on the right side of the first door.

Angry owners

This kitchen is not fully functional. 1950 oven that won't hold a casserole dish. Coffee maker is on its last leg. You may get a cup of coffee you might not. Counter has hashmarks and limited space for cooking. Ancient stove top. Not well equipped with essentials. I had to buy a spatula even though that was already mentioned by a previous tenant as a need. We had to use paper bowls for cereal. Couldn't get the diswasher to work. Did Most dishes by hand. Living room is awkward with steps which are horrible for older adults, toddlers and any kind of party. We had ants in the living room as well. The seating is awful and uncomfortable. The bed was fine but all the bedrooms have slotted doors and the master bedroom one does not close. Stairs in the master bath and again no door. Guest bath is odd. Most of the lights don't work, no shower, counter tops are very low. One light only over the toilet works. Bugs coming out of the ceiling several nights in both bedrooms. Heating/air is either controlled by the owner or just won't respond to tenants needs. We were awakened three days of our stay and told to move our car off the property because they were repairing/resurfacing the parking lot and left me a nasty note when I drove on the surface after 12 hours even though I was told they only needed me off the surface for a few hours. It's really not ready for renters. The owners we're always very angry and upset about one thing or another. I was expecting a stress free vacation! Stay away! I don't recommend this site and if I could have gotten any money back I would have changed to a hotel.

Dirty, cold, odd

I am all about quirky. That's why I chose this place for a much-needed getaway. That, and I desperately wanted a large bathtub, and this place looked to fit the bill. When we are arrive, we found it to be very dirty. Dead bugs on the floor and in the tubs and windowsills. Spiderwebs everywhere. Old, peeling toilet in the bathroom. Had to call owner to fix the toilet which he excused as old plimbing. Just yuck. Fix it, dude. Replace this broken disgusting toilet BEFORE you rent. The kitchen was half-stocked. Frying pans but no utensils for using them. Hard to fry an egg without a spatula. No dishtowels or cleaning rags. No hand towels in the kitchen or one of the bathrooms. There are extension cords and yard equipment left layng around dangerously in the back, so it's not great for your pets. Plus everything is falling apart and in disrepair. The photos are SUPER misleading. The worst part was that it was so uncomfortable that it was impossible to relax. It was cold and the heating system was noisy. It was freezing, there were not enough blankets. They had the heat set at 55 when I arrived and it only warmed about 1/2 degree per hour. There were pillows without pillowcases and the "fireplace" in the living room doesn't actually work to heat the room at all. It was actually quite hellish, so much so we left with two prepaid nights remaining (and they did not give me a refund, even with all these problems. Spend your money somewhere much better than this. Just stay away.

Great deal for the price

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Great to have two bathrooms and a lot of room. We will stay here again! If you plan on cooking at this place it lacked some essentials for doing so. Very few utensils (spatula, mixing spoons, knife set, mixing Bowls).
