Our stay was fabulous from driving up to the chateau, the views that we were greeted with blew us away. Fantastic hospitality from our host was second to none. Beautiful clean room. The evening meal and breakfast all homemade were outstanding. We highly recommend this beautiful chateau to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be trying to fit another stay when were visiting the area again.
Beautiful property with lovely owners. The decor was stunning, so much history. I recommend you have dinner there too - utterly delicious and no problem catering to a food intolerance. Very quiet location and very comfortable luxury room made for excellent sleep too. I hope to stay again someday!
Excellent Inn to stay in. The service was excellent and the room were very clean well kept and very unique and the breakfast outstanding. As to the room we were very pleasantly surprised and so will you I am sure. Definitely worth a stay and you will not be disappointed. A very pleasant surprise awaits you....
The Hosts, Elisabeth and Gilles, were wonderful - friendly and accommodating and interesting to talk with. The area is beautiful and Elisabeth gave us several good recommendations for activities and restaurants. We loved our room and enjoyed our stay. She had gluten free bread for my husband! We would come again.
Beautiful chateau with a fabulous view of the Pyrenees. Made to feel so welcome by the others we felt more like a family friend rather than paying guests . So relaxing and tranquil
Lovely hosts, property is beautiful and been loving restored by the owners over many years. Room was just perfect, very clean, lots of space, air conditioned and beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast was perfect.
My friend and I had a very enjoyable stay. The Chateau is well situated for visiting the area. Arudy, the village just south is charming and has restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets. It is easy to get to great hikes and attractions. Elizabeth is quite helpful in suggesting places to go.
The Chateau itself is beautiful. Our rooms were a bit eccentrically decorated, which adds to the charm. Mine had a spectacular view over the Pyrenees. I could hear owls through the open windows at night.
The gardens outside appear to be undergoing renovation and I’m sure will be splendid.
Both my friend and I plan to recommend the Chateau de Druon to friends.
My only suggestion is that you drive slowly and watch out for the resident “Scotties”.
Fabulous bed and breakfast chateau. Interesting items in garden. If you like unusual things try room 20eme which is very interesting. The chateau is full of interesting artistic items.
we absolutely loved our stay. the host is a gem and you feel like you’re visiting a close friend in a beautiful location with cozy but historical accommodations. we plan to visit again, just for the company and the cozy stay. food was great and rooms had everything you’d need. cannot recommend enough.
We loved this place. The rooms are very individually themed - Elizabeth and Gilles were fantastic hosts, the food was amazing and we really enjoyed it. It’s a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but we will be back next time we are in the area -
Very pleasant owner/host. Excellent room with unique furnishings and decor throughout the Chateau as collected by the owners during a superb refurbishment.
Would definitely stay again.
