Fairmont Peace Hotel on the Bund offers 270 accommodations with iPod docking stations and minibars. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. Excellent hotel with old world service. Excellent breakfast. The food at the "French" restaurant was awful. Food was not as advertised. The charcoal grilled veal rack had never been near any charcoal and was tough. Same for the rack of lamb. They should either hire a new chef or close the restaurant

Centrally located in the Bund, very convenient to go to any directions. The service is excellent staff pays attention to details. However there’s not enough dining places in the hotel and it’s pricey too. Fortunately there are plenty of restaurants around the areas.
