Staff were fine, the place is cute, but it wasn’t anything particularly special. The rooms lack proper bright lighting, perhaps it’s meant to set a romantic mood but there’s nowhere with decent light to do makeup and get ready in the morning. Lamp above the sink in the bathroom was out, perhaps if it was working that would have been bright enough. They’ve put a low armchair at the coffee/tea/vanity desk… when you sit in it, your chin is level with the desk. Doesn’t work well. Pillows were bad but the mattress was good for my back, not too soft. Water pressure was nice but I think the rainfall shower head needed to be tightened, when you adjusted the angle water shot out the top. I did love that all the lights are independently controlled with their own switches… can’t stand the newer “master” light panels that hotels have.

Great place to stay in Sheffield near the university with on site free parking which was great. Staff really friendly and we ate there in the evening and although it was fully booked they found us a table. Plenty of choice on menu and they had gluten free options which was great for us. Will stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful place to stay and would recommend. I did have an encounter with a couple of staff members who were non chalant and were frankly rude when I asked for help in connecting to the wifi. Apart from that bitter experience, the rest was fine.
