Nice One-Night Stay

Stopped in in late June. One night stay. Rooms was fine. Bed was comfy and pillows were good. The 'continental' breakfast was severely lacking.

Great staff and breakfast. There was a 50$ deposit in case anything got broke we had to pay at check in that we didn't know about. So that needs to be clearer on the website, but otherwise it was affordable, clean, and multiple restaurants in walking distance. Even a Starbucks nextdoor

We were very disappointed that the pool was closed. That was the main reason I booked with this hotel because it had an outside pool. If I would have known the pool was out of order we would have stayed some where else with an indoor pool. I told the staff that thinking they might give us some sort of discount but she was not very friendly about the whole situation.

The location was good and many options for dining, close to the highway but parking was very limited. The room appeared clean but I did find a used soap bar in the shower, so that means the shower wasn't cleaned from the last person who stayed. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the staff the most. I would recommend that you maybe hire security at night. I saw 3 different vehicles that were idling and the occupants were doing things that seemed very shady (drug deals? prostitution?). As a result, I kept checking up on my vehicle. Each time I did, the same vehicles were still idling with same occupants from the time I got there 4PM until 2 AM (last time I checked on my car) . That is very sketchy.
