staff was quickly responsive to our request for two chairs as there was nowhere to sit except on the beds. breakfast items were a nice selection. the basin and toilet should be replaced as they were pitted and not real attractive. not enough surface area to put things. i used the ironing board as another 'table'. it was quite clean. room size was adequate.

The property is quaint, but the rooms are depressing and bland. The TV was also insanely small, and the internet speed felt like dial-up. The staff was terrific, and for the money, it's okay, but I had a few suggestions for improvement. Thanks.

If your looking for something that has aged very well than this spot fits. Rooms have old feel to it but very updated and clean. For those that need noise to sleep they do have portable fan to use. That’s just a me thing. Very close to dinning and walkable area.

Unfortunately the therostat in the room was inoperable and the temperature in the room was not guest controlled. Too warm at night. Had to resort to opening the window to cool the room down. Was offered a fan but fans blow air, don't cool it down.

Just as any historic hotel it has a lack of certain modern amenities which is to be expected. However, there were very few tv channels to choose from. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable stay.

Cute Vintage Hotel

If you like well-kept historic vintage hotels, this is the place for you. Everything is as true to the original as possible. Yes the rooms and bathroom are small, the way they were when it was built, but it's still charming and fun. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. The only thing that we didn't care for is there is NO parking lot and you have to park on the street in a sketchy neighborhood ( homeless people asking for money while we were unloading our car.) No one bothered our car for the two days we were here. Aside from that we loved it and would definitely stay here again.
