Aesthetically, the house looks beautiful & is in a great location. The pool area was lovely. Can't beat the sound of the waves.That being said, communication with the host was terrible. I messaged prior to leaving & again when we landed for instructions on how to get into the VRBO with no response. After contacting customer service while waiting at the airport, I finally received a message through Whats App from Stacey with instructions. When contacting the host again after 3 days, complaining housekeeping hadn't been done, we were having issues with the water temperature, and experiencing a MAJOR ant issue (by then we had emptied the kitchen cupboards twice to spray raid. We were washing our own towels (only 2 bath towels provided per room), sweeping floors, taking out the garbage etc). The host replied saying the house keeper was scheduled to come that day & friday (would be great to know & she didn't show up until Thursday morning at 7:15 & waited outside for us to leave so she could clean). He also said Stacey was our primary contact (naturally you'd think this should have been shared info long before arriving at the VRBO). We thought for the price, the beds, pillows & linens are far from hotel quality. The bathrooms are dark & dated. If you're one who appreciates a full length mirror, there's one in the entire house. The toilet seat & door handle of the "blue room bathroom" was broken so you couldn't close the door. I'd share more but no space allowed.
