Bellman wasn’t always there to get your vehicle. As it is valet parking this is important. Persons were coming for dinner and they didn’t know what to do. Called for washcloths around 4:30 as housekeeping didn’t leave any. Didn’t get any. Called around 7:30am the next day. Called back at 8:30am only to be told housekeeping doesn’t open until 9:00. As a supposed to be 5 star property I was a bit annoyed. Any place I have stayed and this happened someone was always able to accommodate me even if housekeeping was closed. Staff were very friendly, courteous and pleasant. Rooms were okay. I thought the toilets were rather low. Some persons would have a real problem with that. Showers were nice and large. Property was clean.

I stayed in Room 311 at The Morgan Resort & Spa and truly enjoyed my time there. While my balcony faced the city (not the best view), the bathrooms could use updating, and I noticed a little mildew in the shower, plus the walls aren’t fully soundproof, the positives were huge. The location is perfect—just 2 minutes from the airport, the beach within walking distance, and an ice cream shop next door. Most weekends you’ll hear live music at the resort or nearby, which adds great energy. I suggest booking a balcony facing the pool so you can enjoy the music from your room. The food was amazing, my friend’s manicure at the spa turned out beautifully, and the BBQ shack in back serves delicious ribs and seafood. I loved the pool bar and Jacuzzi (though you need to swim 6 ft or climb in from the side). The staff was fantastic—special shoutout to Louisiana, my favorite waitress. The property is spotless, with extras like hammocks, volleyball, cornhole, and cabanas ($480 with food/drinks). Don’t miss the rooftop observation deck on the 5th floor—it’s stunning. I’d definitely stay here again.
