The Furama City Centre met all our needs. Friendly staff, Zack's greeting us as we arrived showing us to the front desk and taking care of our luggage. This property is walking distance to Chinatown and Speakers Park where you can catch the Hop On Hop Off buses.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We were allowed a late checkout, which was much appreciated. The hotel also kindly lent us an umbrella and helped arrange taxis when needed. Breakfast was good and added to an overall pleasant experience.

The bedroom was clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. The staff were polite and very helpful. The hotel was conveniently positioned right next to Chinatown with numerous restaurants. The metro station was a short five minutes walk away from the hotel, which made traveling around the city very convenient. Finally the swimming pool was nice and it easy to relax before dinner.

If you like watching you partner/friend/colleague use the bathroom and shower, then this is the hotel for you! If not, I'd probably swerve it. I'll explain We booked a room, based on pictures from Expedia. The bathroom was a closed in, private room with a door, and no glass windows. This isn't the room they gave us. See the pictures. The bathroom walls in some rooms is made of clear glass. There are some areas of frosting, but it's very ineffective. I'm 6'2 (188cm). At eye level, you can see directly into the bathroom There is also a mirror positioned on the wall, so that of you're on the bed, you cannot avoid looking in. The main wall between is 100% clear glass. It has a blind, but it's not 100% coverage. Anywhere you go in the room, you'll see into the bathroom. You have zero privacy in the bathroom. This wasn't for us some complained, and they said they'd move us, no problem, easy, just come back around 1-2pm. Fine. So,we cancelled some plans and changed our day around to come back around check in and change the room. At this point, they tried to give us a twin bed room, we declined as they'd promised us a double earlier. We had to really fight to get a new room. They really tried to find reasons not to do it. I had to show screenshots of the Expedia advert The new room was what we booked. It was dirty, see pics. The safe didn't work as the battery was low but we didn't want to waste more time Lots of other issues, but ran out of word count

Well placed - near Chinatown and Clarke Quay. MRT stations nearby. Great value for what you get, excellent base to explore Singapore from. Not a lot to do within the property but all the basics are catered for in the Lobby (work space, food, etc). Spacious rooms and close to anything else you'd want. One of my preferred places when in Singapore!
