Welcome to the Lennon Cabin in the foot of the Catskills. Located in the hamlet of Smallwood in Bethel, NY. Home to the Wood Stock of 1969, Bethel has so much to enjoy! We are located 10 minutes from the Bethel Center of the Arts where you can enjoy one of their many concerts, 10 minutes from Lake Superior State park, White Lake (5min) and the Toronto Reservoir (5min) for lake swimming, kayaking, fishing and other water activities.
In our private Hamlet our house is walking distance to our community Lake where you can take morning strolls, bike rides or sit by the doc. We also have our own reservoir trail that you can walk to from the house in addition to a dog park and children's play ground. 5 minutes away is the Alton Distillery located on beautiful grounds where you can enjoy their small batch Whiskey or a curated cocktail. 30 minutes away is the Catksill brewery and various downtowns with eclectic water front dining. We are 20 minutes from Kartrite indoor water park and close to many Alpaca farms as well as horseback riding. Come see all that the Lennon cabin has to offer.

While there is so much to do in the area, sometimes a stay-cation is what we all really need. Enjoy our cozy cabin, perfect for a couples retreat or small family getaway. Equipped with two comfortable queen size beds, a full kitchen, multiple smart tv's and board games for a relaxing indoor getaway. The expansive outdoor deck has a covered hot tub, grill, fire pit and multiple seating areas to lounge. Grab a good book and lounge with a glass of wine or complimentary Nespresso in any part of the cozy cabin!

Lovely and nicely furnished cabin! My husband and I enjoyed a quiet stay here with our pup. The bed/linens were cozy and the kitchen was well stocked. We especially enjoyed the covered private hot tub — the outdoor tv is a great addition. Location is convenient to the lake and a 10-min walk to the dog park. As other have mentioned, the water pressure in the shower is a bit weak, but we were prepared for that and it was really the only concern.

My husband and I stayed with our dog at this cozy cabin. It was clean, heating and A/C worked well, and we loved watching TV in the hot tub. We appreciated that there were plenty of essentials and we didn't feel like we were getting nickel and dimed - the host provided plenty of toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and LOTS of pods for the Nespresso machine. The only negative was the lack of water pressure for showers.

We wanted a long weekend to decompress, relax, and generally get away from the hustle. This cabin was clean, cozy, and extremely peaceful. The back deck is the perfect place to look up at the stars on a clear night, and listen to the sounds of nature. The deer will just about walk right up to you, and they hung around while we enjoyed our mornings on the deck. If you're looking to get away from it all, and slow down, this is the place. The town is also very veteran friendly, and I booked this stay for my husband's birthday - he is a mutli-tour combat veteran, and he added this cabin retreat to his list of peaceful places. Highly recommend, would absolutely stay again. The beds were also very comfortable!

The house was clean and the backyard deck was a great place to unwind. The couch was so low to the ground and was unusable for us. If anyone else would have stayed with us, there would have been nowhere to store belongings. The shower appeared to be broken or had extremely low water pressure.

Nice cozy cabin located really close to bethel performing arts center. The beds were comfy and the overall look of the place was as pictured. Amanda was responsive to all of our inquiries. The low couch was a little different and could be problematic if you’re older but was fine for us. The grill and the hot tub also made it a really great place to chill before the show we went to see.

A Lovely Getaway!

We had a wonderful few days ringing in the New Year in Smallwood/Bethel at this adorable home. It's even better than the photos and provided a really special venue to hibernate, cook, binge-watch Netflix, and take a dip in the hot tub. For "off-campus" activities, I highly recommend the Sullivan O&W Rail Trails, which are former railroads-turned-hiking trails that we really loved.
