The ideal getaway cabin property located directly by the water. Nothing beats waking up and going for a walk with a view of the beach, or enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck. Pets are welcome in this home, so bring them along! There is a fenced-in yard where your dog or children can play. This house has a smart television, so feel free to sign in to your preferred streaming service. There is nothing like going on vacation and having a place to stay that is quite comfortable for the entire family. Located near the mouth of the Smith River, Casino and only 9.8 miles away from the Oregon border!

Our home is located within a peaceful resort community. To ensure everyone enjoys their stay, please follow the resort courtesy rules below. Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment for all guests and residents!

Quiet Hours

•Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Please keep voices, music, and outdoor activities respectful during this time.

Parking

•Park only in the designated parking spots assigned to this home.

No parking on the road, open resort spaces, or on cement slabs.

•Do not block driveways or other RV/campsites.

Pet Policy

•Pets must be on a leash at all times outdoors.

•No pets allowed to roam freely.

•You must pick up after your pets. The resort may charge $25 per incident for pet waste not cleaned up.

•No walking pets in restricted green areas.

Respect Neighboring Sites

•Do not walk through other RV or campsite spaces — use main pathways and roadways.

•Be mindful that many residents are here for peace and relaxation.

•Please do not access the beach/water using the resorts designated area.

Outdoor Fires & Grilling

•No open wood fires outside designated grills.

•Propane fire pits are allowed, but must be attended at all times.

•Do not leave any heat sources burning unattended.

Conduct / Behavior

The following are not permitted anywhere in the resort:

•Excessive noise

•Public intoxication

•Illegal drug use or exchange

•Nudity

•Foul or aggressive language

•Fireworks, firearms, or explosives

Any of these may result in immediate removal from the property.

Safety & Liability

•You are responsible for securing your own belongings.

•The resort and homeowners are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

•Children must be supervised at all times.

Pet validation of 1 dog under 20 lbs was not discovered on web page till after booking. Chose pet friendly as a filter. Didn't catch the fine print. Caused stress. Ocean view is an extreme exaggeration! One sliver of a view from a small living room window shows ocean. We were never able to find beach access. Traveled north about 3 miles to get to beach. VRBO doesn't verify listing is the only expliination we can come up with.

Nice little older house..

We enjoyed our stay. Very cute older house. The parking for lower vehicles is not great because of the speed bump going into the driveway. We have a Chrysler 200 and had inches from hitting the bottom of the car.. communicated with the hosts and he was trying to understand the situation. Very nice guy. Would stay again but not drive my car I would take my SUV..laundry room is in basement so for older or handicapped people would be a problem. But we did fine..:)

Description does not match the property

Well there was standing water and mold in the basement. The furniture was covered in dog hair. It smelled like wet dogs. There was big fluff balls of dog hair under the bed that I slept in....there's alot of traffic and dog fights from the rv park across the street. Glad we had our truck be ause we would never have been able to get our car over that hump and down that driveway....it was ugh....but we went up to Gold Beach and Brookings and had fun

Fun and interesting location

Image on Vrbo website not accurate, house faces an RV park. From one corner of the front porch you can sort of see what the image shows. Quite a few cars going in and out of the RV park. The 'speed bump' for the drive way, information not given until last check-in instructions was a real issue - this driveway is not recomended for lower cars (a honda civic). It scraped the bottom of the car trying to get into the driveway, a very kind person in the RV park allowed us to park in front of their camper. House rustic but comfortable, kitchen stove needs checking, heat on the outside but didn't properly cook a frozen pizza.

Cozy Accommodations

We enjoyed our stay! The living room is very cozy reminiscent of a cabin with wooden walls and a fireplace. Has a good basic kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Bedrooms are comfortable with nice decor. One thing to note is that either the listing or check-in instructions states that there’s a fenced-in yard for your dog. That’s true there’s a fence but it’s not enclosed all the way, so just something to know for people with dogs who like to runaway or explore. My favorite part of this property is the rustic front deck that offers a view of the water!
