Property was perfect! Cute, clean room. Really wonderful shower. Proximity to the bus stop is a huge bonus. We would absolutely stay here again!

Renting and payment was easy. I notified the front desk that I was checking out of my Aspen hotel at 11 and would like to check in early if possible. They said they would let me know. I never heard anything so I went there at 345. They said yes it was ready and it had been for a couple hours. Ok. The place is clean and nice and updated. The pool at Pokolodi lodge is atrocious. It is right in between 2 of the oldest and most rundown condos in Snowmass with a very interesting clientele to say the least. I spent the night and it was nice, but a little loud since it is right next to the bus route/stop (pro and con). I left the next morning for my job at 545 AM (why i was in Aspen/snowmass, not vacation). At 10, I found out my father was just admitted to the ICU in Denver and I left my job at about 3, checked out, and packed up my car and left for Denver. I was in the place for less than 24 hours out of my 5 night, 6 stay. I understand cancellation policies and refundable trips, but in an emergency, I would expect a little leniency. Maybe a partial refund or something of the sort. Nothing like that was offered. Most people who own condos in Aspen/Snowmass probably are not hurting for money, but you would think a little understanding would be shown in an emergency. Anyways, the place is nice. The pool is not.
