The room was very spacious and family friendly. I really enjoyed the amenities such as the complimentary breakfast and the pool. The pull-out couch that I requested was in poor conditions, the springs continued to poke me while I attempted to lay on it. Also, I do not like how now there is a 250 dollar hold on my credit card. I understand the reason but now I have to wait 5-7 business days for the funds to be returned to my account which is truly an inconvenience.

The area was average but the hotel itself is not very good. The rooms are outdated, the floors are taped down and the breakfast was not good. The eggs are freezer burned and the options are few. The fruit was super soggy as if they reused the same fruit for days. We just left and purchased breakfast outside the hotel. We wanted to warm some milk for the kids but there was no microwave in our room either. We’ve been to quite a few hotels in different states and this one was by far the worst by Marriot. That rating really needs to be updated.

Horrible Service. Rude Manager

I arrived, the manager was not friendly and told me that I had to pay a large deposit to stay at the hotel since reservation was paid through a third-party vendor. I explain to her that I have never paid that amount there it was always under a certain limit. Plus, a guest arrived at the same time I did, and they did not offer them the same policy as they did me. Very disappointed. As a manager I expected professionalism and friendly customer service. She did not amplify those characteristics and set a bad example on behalf of the hotel. So unethical, passage aggressive and unprofessional. She told me that they were going to cancel my reservation, and she did. I have not received anything refund from anyone at this time. However, I had to reserve another hotel using the third-party vendor and stayed at the Courtyard Marriot in Edison. Me and my grandchildren felt safe at the Courtyard, and we did not have to worry about hostile environment. I rate them a ZERO.
