It was our first time in the Amalfi coast. I travelled with my husband and our 12 year old daughter. The taxi left us about 2 blocks away at Tasso Piazza because on that road they cannot go or drive in. ok with that we understand.
We met Patrizia at the stop and she took us to the unit. She also helped us sending a taxi to Naples airport which we paid 160E at the check in. The building is located right in the central street of the old city , it is very touristic and noisy at certain times. The entrance of the building is old and needed to be painted asap. Even though that area in the city is old, other buildings were very well kept. We spent 4 nights at this unit. There was no view at all to the street, it was dark, all the time we needed to turn on the lights. The window in the bedroom was facing walls and the interior of other buildings, and the balcony which has access from the living room, faces another building as well, all under construction. The size of the apartment was good, it was clean, location was ok, but for the same price we could have booked something definitely better. If I have to go back to Sorrento I would stay somewhere else, a few blocks away from the main street. We visited Capri by ferry boat, Positano and Amalfi by SITA bus, and Pompei by train. Station and port walking distance from this apartment.
