Excellent value

I was very surprised by how nice this hotel is. Front desk staff was kind and welcoming. Check in was super easy, no hassle. I was on the first floor which has been recently remodeled. It's an older building, buy you can tell they take care of it. The room was spacious, super clean, and cozy. Fridge and microwave were clean and easy to use. Shower was hot and awesome. It's nice to have a shower that accommodates humans who are more than 6' tall. FULL SIZE DOVE TOILETRIES. I cannot tell you what a lovely surprise that was!! Overall, had a wonderful stay and will totally come back next time I'm in South Bend. TIP: check out the Chinese restaurant that shares a parking lot with the hotel. Delicious!

The look of the room was very pretty but the bathroom vanity are is in an inconvenient space and poor lighting. There is a guest laundry room but still no way to iron clothes if needed. I didn’t like that there’s no iron- ironing board No safe in the room for valuables Little to no space to hang your clothes (just a 2 x4 ft space but only a rod on one end to hang about 4 garments . Overall it was Great for the price!!!

The staff was absolutely the best, Debbie in housekeeping was the sweetest person ever as was the sweet girl with glasses who worked the front desk. Very clean and comfortable rooms, plentiful parking and great location. We are picky and will be back for sure!
