Shower was wonderful. The updates are good, but you can tell it was an updated old hotel. I did not see any bedbugs which is always my first thing to check for. My biggest complaint was the window did not have blackout curtains. It was just a pull down and the light from the parking lot poured in all night long. My hubby thought the bed was a little uncomfortable, but I had no problem with it. The breakfast in the morning was ehh at best. Liquid egg, bacon, cereal, and bagels. But it’s free and my kids enjoyed the cereal. Staff wasn’t over the top, but they were pleasant and quick. All in all I would stay here again when visiting family.

Baymont by Wyndham is an excellent option for affordability and comfort. I had an issue with my TV and the overnight front desk person graciously and expeditiously moved me to a nearby room. The hotel takes cleaning seriously and was in the process of painting & repairing some of the outdated areas of the hotel. Pretty seamless check-in and check-out processes. An ethernet port would’ve been helpful to have a hard-wired connection to the hotel’s high speed internet, because my company computer couldn’t get past the hotel’s WiFi firewall. And dining options (in close walking distance) are limited to the two large restaurants outside, but several more if you’re willing to drive or walk a bit more, otherwise no complaints here.

Overall great! Appears to have been recently rehabbed. Our only negative is the coffee! The lobby equipment is awful. Get takeout from IHOP or Bob Evans. Microwaving yesterday's leftovers would taste a lot better.
