Dreamin’ of loungin’ away in Margaritaville? Live a little of the vacation life without the drive. You may not be able to sink your toes in the sand, but otherwise you will believe that you are at the beach in this spacious tropical-style getaway. This cabin sleeps 4 in two queen beds (one queen bedroom, and one loft space with queen bed) and is lounge ready. NOTE: Steep driveway. Four-wheel drive recommended for all seasons and req'd in inclement weather.

The property was nice and in good condition; unfortunately some of the hosts' 'rules' seemed a bit excessive, like a 200 fine for leaving garbage in the trashcan provided on the property. I understand a reasonable expectation of cleanliness upon checkout as rental properties provide amenities hotels cannot, but if someone is paying 600 to stay for two days, I don't think it's right to expect them to drive a garbage bag all the way to the entrance of the property or be fined the equivalent of another night's stay before tax. Also, any pet fees should be included with the original booking or at least have been described somewhere prior to booking, as it's a bit shady to tack on extra fees after payment.

Privacy is great. Host was very easy to communicate with. The batteries in the small lights in the kitchen need replacing. A top to bottom dusting is needed. But the general cleaning is good for sure. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The cabin was comfy, no dishwasher, but that’s ok. Doesn’t hurt to wash dishes by hand. We liked the fact that it was close to a lot of hikes and other restaurants. If you are looking for privacy, this place had it.

The cabin was comfortable, the view into the woods from the fire pit area was very pretty and we saw a buck passing by and a woodpecker. The TV got lots of channels and the couch was really comfy. The hot tub was nice.

The supplies and facilities were wonderful! The provided paper supplies was wonderful, except no coffee filters (which is usually provided by a rental because there’s different types of coffee makers.) The kitchen knives were wonderfully sharp (which usually doesn’t happen on a rental home) and the cutlery was very good quality. The TV was big and easy to use. The sulfur water smell (which is the main reason we chose this cabin) was very minimal and nonexistent when mixed with soap, shampoo etc. The master bed was too wiggly (so we didn’t sleep well) but the loft bed (on a platform) was sturdy. The lighting was decent (unlike many rental homes with dim light) The cleaning was very thorough even in corners. The spring on the sprayer on the kitchen sink was missing and accidentally sprayed all over. The missing plug in the bathroom sink was disconcerting since you could lose something easily and you see the muck in the pipe. The hot tub was clean. The phone coverage was very very minimal on TMobile, better on AT&T. A short walk up the steep driveway to the other cabin provided decent service. There was parking for up to 3 cars even though the steep driveway was a little scary. Generally, we very pleased and would stay there again, as it was very near hiking trails and yet very private and relaxing.

Great getaway! Great outdoor area! Only complaints would be housekeeping. We had a dirty comforter (what appeared to have blood on it), the floor under the bed or nightstands (Mold from what appeared to be a spilled drinks and tobacco pouch), dirty microwave and oven..

Loved this place!

Adorable property! It was so comfy & relaxing. Right near all the Hocking Hills trails. We hiked then relaxed in the hot tub, had a bonfire, and chilled out. Would definitely recommend! (The driveway is steep, as property manager indicates).

Fun for a weekend

The property was cute and fun for our girls weekend. We used the hot tub every night and enjoyed the scenery. The hot tub was smelly even after we used the chemicals suggested to us. Also, the cleanliness of the bathroom left a bit to be desired. There weren't enough amenities -- there was a coffee pot but no filters, no sugar or oil spray. There was absolutely no internet and no service. For the cost, this place is okay and served our needs for the weekend. There are a few things that could be improved but we probably got what we paid for.

Quick Escape

The property was amazing! After checking in we noticed there was a small drip from the toilet tank and the host responded promptly and it was fixed the same day! We even added an additional day last minute with no issues. Will absolutely book again!

We had a very enjoyable stay. With no land line phone and no cell signal it was difficult to contact anyone about minor problems but we managed to deal with them without too much trouble. We love coming to hocking hills and love trying new cabins

My family came for a weekend of hiking with our two dogs. We loved the fact that they accommodated the dogs. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful location. It had everything we needed except flashlights. We arrived right after a storm came through and knocked out the power for several hours. Hocking Lodging kept us updated on the outage and amended our bill for the inconvenience, which we appreciated.

Perfect location

The property managers went above and beyond to ensure we had extra utilities as needed. They layout and location of the cabin was perfect. My GF and I enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was very relaxing and very cleanly. Walking outside was beautiful in the morning and evening and night.

Great getaway!

Margaritaville was perfect for our family outing. We did a long weekend stay with our 2 teenagers and our doggie. The property was awesome to explore and it was less than ten minute drive to the parking for Ash Cave. The house was clean, had plenty of pans for making food and had hot water for all of us to shower after a long day of hiking. We got Captain Ron's pizza one night- I definitely recommend that for take out. And Millstone BBQ was a nice dog friendly patio and delicious food. All around a great stay! Would definitely book again.
