Lowry’s Retreat

Lowry’s retreat is a couples perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Come and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature, as you relax in the hot tub. Roast hot dogs over an open flame as you gaze at the stars and let the stress of everyday life melt away. Take a hike at one of the local parks less than ten miles away. Just retreat for the weekend. ( There’s no cell service). Lowry’s retreat was designed for two guests only no kids or pets.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Ash Cave. You'll find features such as 1 hot tub. The cabin offers free WiFi and a patio.

This is very nice, quiet relaxing place. Perfect for two people to spend the weekend at. It was clean and well kept. My wife and I enjoyed staying here. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you to the owners for providing us with a great experience.

Despite the power being out for the first two days, we still had an incredible time. The cabin was perfect clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The fire kept us warm and made the experience feel even more special. It ended up being such a memorable stay, and we truly enjoyed every moment. We came to the cabin for a nice weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was quiet, secluded, and all the amenities were nice. The host were very good at quick responses for any questions we had. Perfect cabin for a getaway weekend!

The cabin was perfect for our trip. The only downfall I failed to recall is the smell that water tanks sometimes create. Outside of that which is to be expected, it was a fabulous trip and look forward to future returns!

Very clean, great place to stay!

Close enough to Hocking Hills but still remote enough to feel like a true getaway. NCT is just down the road & lots of great trails to hike! Hot tub was such a nice treat! Fire pit in the back yard was a great way to end the day.

Anniversary Trip

Property was very nice. It is clean and accurate to the description. The only issue we had was with the neighbors dog. Although the dog is not aggressive he will jump on you and does not leave. Upon our request the neighbor called him back but would not tie him up and the dog continued to return. We ended up just going inside. I brought this to the attention of the VRBO owner when we were checking out. He acknowledged this has happened before but seemed to feel that there wasn't anything he could do.

Very Cozy, Comfy Cabin

Very cozy, comfy cabin. We wanted to escape the noise of 4th of July, and this cabin nailed it! We enjoyed drinking our breakfast drink on the covered porch. The hot tub felt great after a long bike ride on the Hocking Adena Bike Way in Nelsonville, and after hiking the many beautiful trails in Hocking Hills. The cabin was perfect for us. Would like to come back.

Cute clean cabin

It was just what we needed. The cabin was clean & cozy. Had a small kitchen, great for making breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking. The hottub was a great way to relax in the evenings. The owner was so friendly. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Amazing getaway

This cabin was very clean and a nice getaway from day to day life. There is a big white dog that lives across the street and seems intimidating at first. He is actually a very lovable dog named Zeke (?sp). Would definitely stay at this location again.

Such a great little cabin. Cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Owner was easy to communicate with and very nice. If you look at this cabin and are second guessing because of the decor being outdated, please don’t let that alone scare you away. Will definitely stay again if we go back to the area.
