✅ You will have private use and access to the entire house and all its amenities during your stay ❤️ (including the hot tub, garage and backyard outdoor patio area when complete!)

✅ 2 parking spots on the driveway in front of the house are available for you and your guests. The garage is not available for the next couple months. Unfortunately, no trailers or RVs are permitted on the property grounds. Kindly make parking/storage arrangements for your rigs.

✅ Guests will have the ability to check themselves on the day of their arrival. The front door is equipped with a convenient electronic keypad lock for self-check-in. Your unique access code will be provided to you on the morning of your check-in date.

📹 SECURITY CAMERAS
Doorbell cameras and exterior cameras are present (front door, front of house, side of house). NO cameras are present inside of the house for your privacy and comfort during your stay.


📈 MAXIMUM CAPACITY
The Slöpe can sleep up to 6 adults and/or children greater than age of 6. For all guests above the maximum capacity, a fee of $30 per guest per day will be applied.


📌 REQUIREMENT
Must be 25+ years of age to book this vacation rental (valid government ID submission will be required).


📜 The Slöpe HOUSE GUIDELINES:
We strive to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and pleasant stay. To maintain a welcoming environment for all, please familiarize yourself with our simple rental rules.

• We kindly ask that guests observe quiet time starting at 10pm to ensure a peaceful and restful environment for all.
• The maximum guest limit will be observed at 10p, starting during quiet hours per El Dorado County Ordinances.
• NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED!
• NO OPEN FLAMES OR CANDLES
• NO SMOKING OR VAPING inside of the house. Outdoors, away from windows or doors, is permitted. Please put out your cigarettes butts completely, dispose of them safely in a trash receptacle. Please be mindful of the easy ignition of fires in the South Lake Tahoe area and to do your part to prevent any fires.
• NO illegal substances allowed on the premises.
• NO food/drink/glassware AND NO PETS in the hot tub.
• Maximum 2 cars on the driveway.
• NO trailers or similar equipment allowed on the property grounds. Kindly make arrangements for your trailers or RVs ahead of time.
• Report any damage immediately.
• Pets allowed ONLY WITH WITH PRIOR APPROVAL.
• The space is suitable for toddlers and children under 12.
• No unregistered guests allowed.
• Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
• Please close all the doors/windows while the AC is on.
• Please ensure proper care of the furnishings, as you will be responsible for covering any damages beyond the security deposit.
• Please return any furniture that was moved during your stay back to its original location.
• Discard all cooking oil in trash, NOT in sink.
• Upon check-out, please load the dishwasher and run it on normal cycle.
• The living room and each bedroom have a TV. Kindly keep the remotes in their appropriate rooms (they are labeled). If you choose to log in with your own streaming accounts, please ensure to log off prior to your departure as we will not be responsible for any charges incurred by future guests.
• Check-out is at 10am.
• Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.
• Ensure bear box is completely shut after disposing trash to prevent unwanted visits of bears to the house.
• Do not tamper with security cameras, safety equipment like smoke alarms or fire extinguishers.

⚠️ Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited, regardless of the type of smoking material. Please note that if anyone in your group is found smoking indoors, a charge of $500 will be automatically applied. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our space smoke-free. You may use the driveway or further to the main road.

Violation of any of the house rules outlined in our listing (yes, all those fun but important guidelines you agreed to when booking) will result in:
💸 Forfeiture of your security deposit
💼 Loss of any funds paid toward your reservation
🏃‍♂️ Immediate removal from the property

We really don’t want to go there — nobody likes awkward conversations or last-minute checkouts, least of all us. So just follow the rules, treat the home with respect, and everyone stays happy. Easy, right?


❗ KEEP DOORS & WINDOWS CLOSED
It is very critical that you keep all doors and windows closed when entering/exiting the house to 1) keep any bugs or critters from entering, especially during warmer months and 2) to maintain an enjoyable temperature inside the home.


🐶 PET POLICY
(A) Pets are welcomed to The Slöpe ONLY WITH PRIOR APPROVAL. A pet stay fee per pet AND a one-time pet cleaning fee will be applied if request for the presence of a pet is approved (This fee does not cover damage to the property or grounds resulting from a pet, including but not limited to: chewing, scratching, digging and unreported house-training accidents.); and

(B) All local laws and regulations must be followed, including required vaccinations. Please, observe leash laws and do not bring your pet to parks and beaches that do not allow animals.
