Good stay.

The hotel common areas look well-kept and clean except the steps going upstairs. The first step has a dip like there is rotten wood under it but it's covered in carpet. That carpet, is FILTHY. It has turned brown from all the traffic and has not been deep cleaned. Upstairs there were some materials and plastic coverings on the floor, not sure if they were fixing something. Thankfully our room looked clean and had no weird odors. Bed linen was white and clean. Mattress was very comfortable, and they provided 4 pillows per bed. Bathroom was clean too. The shower drain was a bit slow to drain and I was standing in a small pool of water. The clog, or whatever it was eventually resolved and the water started to drain but not fully. That was the only issue I encountered. Breakfast was good. They have plenty of options like cereal, yoghurt, bagels, muffins, waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, egg, potato, oatmeal, and coffee to name a few. So, overall, it was a good stay, and would stay here again.

Was very clean and employees were extremely pleasant. Free breakfast was good. Beds extremely comfortable and wonderful linens. We stayed a week and had a great time, very conveniently located. Only cons, water pressure in shower was not good, no wash cloths while we were there, tub was slippery. No elevator if that’s a concern for you.

Check-in seemed like a task for the young man at the desk. After that, staff was terrific. Room was clean and mostly quiet, which was good as our weather kept us inside a lot and there is really no common area to hang out except directly inside the sliding front doors. Location is handy and walkable (in fair weather) and free bus line goes right by. Beach is an easy 5-6 block walk. Would recommend with caveats above.

The shower water pressure was almost non-existent as it barely got you wet and didn't get hot. The a/c unit didn't shut off when you put it on auto at a certain temperature. The front desk people were pretty unattentive.

Enjoyed my stay, it would be nice to have a trash can both outside and one inside the restroom. No elevator available so it’s difficult to take bags and luggage up the second floor. Very respectful staff and no interruptions. Good breakfast with good hours. WiFi wasn’t working :(

Horrible experience

Check in was a nightmare, had reservations for 2 rooms, they only showed one, 45 minutes later, a conversation with the manager on the phone, then the desk clerk and her having a conversation in SPANISH, he finally gave us 2 rooms, even though I had confirmation in hand
