We were there for 5 nights and did not have room service once. I had to empty my own garbage, go to front desk for clean towels and ask for toilet paper. I finally asked to borrow a broom so I could sweep the room. The bathroom sink smelled like rotten eggs and only went away when you ran water in the sink. It was party central all weekend.

The property has become very run down. Our room keys did not work after 3 reprogramming day 2 door would not respond at all. They called maintenance which required a full hour of us waiting oustide the room for a new door lock installed ehen they could have just put us in another room. On day one i advised we had roaches in the room they wrote it on our check it and thats it. Property needs a full clean up to be a Wyndham property.

Great Breakfast maker, Louis!!

I only stay at this Hotel when I'm in South Padre Island. Breakfast is great, and Louis makes it even GREATER, for he cooks the waffles for you and with a smile even. He is great!!!

The employees were nice. The room was clean. There was only one face towel in the room when we arrived. There was one mini Dove soap bar in the room., Check out was quick and simple. Easy access to the Beach. Yes I would go there again.

The room itself was nice, spacious, and clean. The staff were friendly and we felt safe. However, the thermostat in our room did not work so we were unable to adjust the temperature of the room…we were freezing cold the entire trip. I tried to call the front desk to let them know but the phone didn’t work. For two days we could only take cold showers because there was no hot water in the shower, at all. I walked to the front desk and informed them of the issues about 15 minutes of checking in, but apparently they were unable to fix any of the issues, and they didn’t offer anything such as a discount on the room for the inconvenience of being uncomfortable.

No ice bucket, no routine linen change with a five day stay, had to track down housekeeping to get towels, carbohydrate breakfast, no fresh fruit. Worst night ever on a Saturday night, I had an early meeting Sunday morning, went to office to report, no support from staff, I was told to call the police myself!! Office never answered call from my room.
