We can't say enough about the reception the cleanliness the best towels in the world and the management of the palms resort. Everyone from Kendall at the front desk, Kathryn the general manager, The Housekeeping staff and the entire staff in the cafe gives you the welcome and you can tell that they work hard to make sure that you're going to have a good time whether it's just for the weekend or for the long term. We will be back again and again

$45 fee for a small dog is outrageous!! Room needed some deep cleaning— light above the kitchenette sink was covered in spider webs and the light cover is full of bugs!

I've stayed at the palms many years ago, however, the addition of the Cafe and the guest services along with excellent customer service, you can't beat it anywhere on South Padre Island.

The room was musty, the ac only cooled the living area and we were hot all night both nights we were there. Our plans were to have a relaxing stay and watch the new episodes of Stranger Things but the tv wasn’t working. The staff wasn’t helpful at all with this issue, he was more worried about playing his video game in the front desk than to help us resolve any issues. The only upside is that we did have private beach access when all the public access were closed. But besides that it was a mediocre experience, don’t recommend

Great place to stay when visiting SPI. Watched the SpaceX launch at a county park the stayed at the Palms Resort. Ate all meals at Cafe on the Beach which is on the beachside of the building. Excellent food.

Great stay

A very nice motel located on the beach. Needs a few updates but the staff are super helpful and friendly. Has a nice cafe in the back where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also has a nice bar. Met the owners who are great folks and are working to upgrade the property. Will stay here again when we return.
