The Bungalow is the perfect spot for your Acadia National Park getaway. Perfect for two people, this cozy, newly renovated and well appointed apartment will provide a relaxing spot to enjoy your vacation. Multiple park access points are within 2 miles, Bar Harbor and the Park Loop Road are 20 minutes away. Need accommodations for multiple families - 3 townhouses are also available on the property. 3 night minimum stay unless otherwise indicated on the calendar. Air conditioning recently added..

This was a wonderful property to stay at if you plan on visiting Southwest Harbor. My wife and I were looking for a quiet property on the "Quiet Side of the Island" and we found this gem that fit our trip perfectly. We wanted a property that we could unwind at night after long days of visiting Acadia, eating lobster and taking plenty of pictures. The property was welcoming and cozy. We really enjoyed having a full kitchen to make our breakfast and dinner meats at. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we come out this way.

We loved staying at the Bungalow for 3 days recently. It was clean and very comfortable. A highlight was a washer/dryer unit, so convenient. The bungalow is set back and in a good location to a grocery store and some restaurants. We hope it is available the next time we go to Mount Desert Island.

Everything was clean and easily accessible. The kitchen supplied just about everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We just needed to purchase perishables. The location was perfect, close to Acadia National Park but on the quieter side. We even saw 3 deer right on the property!

We loved the location and having a washer and dryer with soap provided! The Bungalow was very clean and the reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 is because the furniture was stained, the couch was bumpy from the springs and the bedspread didn’t smell fresh. The place itself was quite cool with the old wood mixed in the structure. The kitchen is beautifully redone and is well stocked. The bed was comfy although it is a very tight room for space. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. We would stay here again if in the area.

The bungalow was a great way to see all Acadia has to offer while staying separate from the business of Bar Harbor. The unit is cozy and has plenty of stocked appliances. Southwest Harbor is a hidden gem and still close to any sights you have on your agenda.

This was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. We spent most days exploring the many lovely areas nearby. As Floridians, we were a bit surprised there was no air conditioning, but honestly we didn't need it! It was a great homebase!

Everything as advertised. Walked daily to at least one meal in SW Harbor. Pretty much just slept there or stopped in to change clothes after hiking. Fun time - Would come back again!Two deer visited us during the week.2nd Sat. of July - Pink Flamingo Parade - Marches right past this property. Loads of fun!

Photography trip

I met some friends in Southwest Harbor for a photography trip and my stay was at The Bungalow. Everything about the place was just as advertised. It was a great space for one or two people. I really loved the location, just a few blocks from shops and restaurants but far enough away that pulling out into traffic wasn’t a problem. I had a tiny glitch when I first got there (all on me) and when I reached out I had an answer within minutes. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if I ever get back to Acadia!

Perfect spot to see Acadia!

Our stay was so great! The property is even cuter than pictured, perfect for a two person getaway. We were able to access everything we needed in the park and have a quieter retreat from bustling bar harbor. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful home away from home

The bungalow was a lovely home away from home with just enough of everything to make our stay on MDI very comfortable. Communication with host was stellar and made check in and out a breeze. Highly recommended!
