The village itself has a warm, vibrant atmosphere, with a great selection of independent eateries, cafés, pubs, and shops, all within easy walking distance.

The area is particularly popular with walkers, drawn to the dramatic mining heritage coastline, where towering cliffs, historic engine houses, and winding paths create unforgettable views.
