Kätevästi Ocho Riosin ja Runaway Bayn lomakohteiden välillä Jamaikan pohjoisella rannikolla sijaitseva Villa 1 tarjoaa ainutlaatuisen pääsyn todella Jamaikan kokemukseen.

Relaxing seaside villa

Lovely villa right on the ocean. We had plenty of fun swimming and snorkeling, as well as a trip to the original blue hole ( recommend this highly). The staff are wonderful - very caring and competent .. I'm definitely considering a return visit!

We had an amazing stay at Chukka Villa 1. Only problem was we didn't stay long enough.

Villa 1 was even more beautiful in person. Everything from initial booking of Villa to meeting everyone there was fantastic. Carlene welcomed us like family and prepared amazing meals. We would recommend the property 100%. Location perfect as well.

Relaxing Villa

Our family enjoyed a relaxing week at Archer's Rock Villa 1. In addition to the beautiful, well-kept house, we enjoyed delicious home cooking Jamaican style (thanks to Carlene). We also enjoyed the picturesque views and property (thanks to Martin), and felt very safe with Phillip on site, their resident security guard. We appreciated the relaxing environment over a resort!!

As advertised a great location with stunning views. We really enjoyed the pool, beach area, cliff jumping and the bedroom AC. I was surprised there was not a bar-ba-que on there so I bought a small weber grill and left it for future guests, I hope you enjoy it.

VILLA # 1 IS #1 ! (ST ANN'S BAY CHUKKA COVE)

It was a wonderful vacation; the villa was lovely, the patio and view idyllic. Carlene was a terrific hostess; the meals she prepared were delicious and she checked in with us daily about what specialties she could prepare and asking what items we liked. The villa was very clean and very comfortable. I noticed there was no dishwasher in the kitchen' there seemed to be room for one and I would suggest that. Carlene never complained but I imagine that would make her life easier! We'd come back anytime!

A magical paradise

Chukka cove is the perfect vacation setting. It is a true paradise untouched by commercialization. The villas are updated and provide modern amenities. Ms Carlene and the other ladies who manage the villas are amazing cooks and willing to adjust to the dietary needs of all the guests. The view is extraordinary, the snorkling and clif jumping are amazing, the porches provide the perfect amount of privacy and community at the same time. This was the most relaxing, low-key, rejuvenating vacation we have ever had. We can't wait to return!

A Dream

Our stay at Archer's Rock was a dream. The house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the view was incredible. All of the staff were so kind and we especially loved Ms. Carlene's delicious meals. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 which includes a tween and a teen. The grounds are well taken care of and the location is quiet and peaceful. away from the big resorts, but close enough to attractions for day trips. We enjoyed seeing the horses each day and doing the Chukka horseback riding tour. We'd love to go back someday.

Relaxing and beautiful!

Villa 1 far exceeded our expectations! The entire staff was amazing. Carlene was so great to make sure our meals were fabulous and we had everything we needed. Phillip and Anthony made sure we were having a great time and took time to check in on us. Our family of five were very comfortable in villa one with plenty of space for everyone. Jumping off the cliffs into the refreshing beautiful ocean was a delight we all enjoyed. We are all sad to leave our new friends and look forward to returning.

Have you ever had such an amazing trip that everybody was crying when it was time to leave because we didn’t want to leave Ms. Carleen. She is EVERYTHING! she made our stay beyond amazing. I sprang my ankle before coming on the trip and Ms Carleen did her magic. I was out jumping off cliffs at the blue whole. Me and my kids have already booked to go back in April. See you soon Ms Carleen and Andrew just amazing people.

Perfect Getaway

We loved the whole experience! The house and grounds are beautiful and immaculate. The house manager, Ms. Carleen, took care of us like family. She is phenomenal and so great with kids. It was the best of both worlds for me. My husband and I loved the serene, relaxing atmosphere but there was still plenty for our 4-year-old son to explore (pool, huge backyard, cove, Chukka farm animals). The only minor issue was the internet signal didn’t work upstairs. But all things considered, it was a dream. We can’t wait to go back!

Not what we expected

Was not happy with this property ended up leaving after three days when we got there it just wasn’t what we had pictured the cook, actually uses your kitchen and decided to leave ended up spending four nights at a different resort and the washer and dryer in your unit which didn’t make sense to me at all felt like I had no privacy when we came back on the third day there was four or five people sitting in our front yard, we just felt totally uncomfortable

Taste of paradise

We were a family group ranging from 6 to 78 and it worked for all of us. The house, the setting, the view, the food, everyone looking after us, we couldn’t ask for anything more. The villa and the grounds are even lovelier in real life. We had the grounds and the pool and the bay almost to ourselves for our whole stay. Jumping and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the bay was my highlight. We went out on a couple of trips out, but it was lovely to unwind and be looked after so well on site, we didn’t need to do too much. Mrs C is a true star, her food is incredible and we all tried new things and enjoyed every mouthful. The grounds team and security are all amazing too. We felt very safe in a beautiful setting. Sitting in front of villa 1 with the ocean as the back garden is something I’ll never forget. Thanks to you all for the holiday of a lifetime.

Amazing!

Arthur's Rock did not disappoint! From the moment that I made the booking, Trish was in regular communication to ensure that I received all documentation. All of my questions were answered promptly and fully. Then we arrived at the villa. Ms. Carlene greeted us at the gate and from that point onwards made sure that we were comfortable. She is the perfect balance between attentiveness and privacy. The villa is absolutely beautiful, the grounds extremely well kept and the view and overall ambience 5 ⭐. I recommend Arthur's Rock at Chukka Cove to anyone who wants to completely relax, in beautiful surroundings and not worry about meals. Whether you are a couple, family or small group, this villa will not disappoint. Thank you again Ms. Carlene and Arthur's Rock for an unforgettable experience!

Absolutely Ahhh-Mazing!

So happy to have come across this hidden GEM in the Caribbean! Arrived on 7/3/2017 to celebrate my Husbands 50th Birthday. We were greeted by our driver Erol at the airport who made a little over an hour drive go by rather quickly with lots of laughing and getting to know a little bit about the culture (he even stopped to purchase the local beer for us "Red Stripe") Upon arriving at the Villa we were greeted by Carlene and I cannot say enough of how she went out of her way each & every day to make sure we were well taken care of, the meals she prepared each day were out of this world! The grounds are like a little piece of paradise, from the landscaping to the Caribbean Sea at your toes. We will cherish the memories had at Chukka Villa1 for a lifetime and look forward to returning one day! Thanks to all for making Pete's 50th one we'll not forget :) Lisa Cajigas

Jamaica stole our hearts

We stayed at this villa while traveling with our 15 year old nephew. We loved every moment on the island. We rented a vehicle and fell in love with the people of Jamaica. Everybody has a smile on their face. I had an excellent experience starting with booking and communication with Trish. She is so helpful, professional, and super quick to respond. When we arrived we were so impressed. The house is amazing and the cliff is so magical. Now we know how we want to retire one day. We arrived in the evening so we didn't have a change to meet all the wonderful people who take care of the property, the guys and Carleen. What a woman. So sweet and kind. She kept the house super neat and cooked the best chicken eveeer for us. Thank you!

A truly beautiful spot

We were so happy with this beautiful and comfortable home, perched above the glistening Caribbean Sea. It was even better than I expected. The staff took excellent care of us, and the property was beautifully clean and well maintained. Carleen cooked wonderful meals. The water was gorgeous at every time of day, and the little cove was a perfect secluded spot to stay cool and enjoy the water and see fish. I felt totally pampered all week. We enjoyed one day trip with Errol by car to have lunch and tour the country side, but we were very happy to stay put and enjoy most meals at home. Being able to walk to the store( in the morning ) to get groceries was a plus, and Carleen went with me the first day so that we could plan menus. The horses were so beautiful. We loved having them around. I would love to return for another visit. Next time I might explore the island a little more, or take part in one of the Chukka Cove Adventure trips.( which are conveniently nearby).

Unreal Vacation

My friend and I set out to surprise our wives and we found this little slice of heaven. We found everything from communication on the frontside of the trip, transport from the airport, the stay, and on the way home to be nothing short of amazing. We wanted to take our wives somewhere special where they wouldn't have to make a bed, wash clothes, or cook a meal. Chukka Cove Villa 1 was the spot! Carlene met us with a beautiful smile and a willing heart to help make our time there so relaxing. The four of us love snorkeling and that's what we did about 5 1/2 hours a day. From cliff jumping to floating and looking at God's glorious design in the ocean we all agreed this was the BEST place we could have chosen. The food was authentic and wonderful. Chukka Cove aims to please and they exceeding our expectations big time. I have been to Jamaica 4 times and have now found the place we want to return again and again. The view. The value. The people. It was a superb time and we can't wait to go back to our villa. 😜

Highly recommend this property!

Villa One at Chukka Cove is an amazing property! The villa itself is beautiful--clean, well supplied, with lovely ocean views, a charming veranda, comfortable spacious rooms, peaceful grounds, wonderful swimming cove & small beach. But what makes this property exceptional is Carlene! She is the house staff who maintains the home and cooks the most amazing authentic Jamaican meals. Carlene is kind, easy going, fun an a phenomenal cook and such a joy to be around. Another bonus of staying at Villa One was the accessibility to Chukka Cove adventures and all the wonderful staff there. They arranged car rentals, fresh fish pick up and local insight to all the great stuff to do in and around the area. Miss Vas and Clarence of Chukka Cove management provided wonderful personal customer service delivered with a peppering of local flavor, humor, and professionalism. The location of Villa One is perfect. Close enough to Montego Bay and Ocho Rios to get your city fix, but removed from it enough to have lovely peace and tranquility at the Villa. Jamacia is a beautiful, safe, welcoming, friendly country to visit and Villa One the rental you want when you go. So much so that our family is already planning another stay!

Relaxing 25th anniversary vacation

The villa has an amazing location! The views from bedroom 1 and 2 are wonderful to wake up to each morning as you get a full ocean view from the large windows. The beds and pillows in all 3 bedrooms are so comfortable and there was plenty of closet and drawer space in each bedroom. Ms Carleen is a fabulous housekeeper and chef. She made delicious meals for us and accommodated our request for a low level of spiciness. Andrew was so friendly and made us feel very safe on the property. Tony and Martin kept the grounds looking great all week long. All of the staff are very hard working and friendly. The only con was that the internet connection isn't consistently strong, but I'm not sure there is anything that could be done in that matter. We were there to unplug and relax so maybe it was better that we couldn't check email sometimes. Overall I would highly recommend Villa 1 for privacy due to it's location on the grounds and for Ms. Carleen and her patient demeanor when trying to make everyone in the family happy at mealtime. We would definitely like to come back for another vacation and maybe bring some other families with us to stay in Villa 2 & 3.

Good not great

I wanted to love this place and it was unfortunately disappointing. The property itself is beautiful but the villa is extremely run down. The staff on the property is nice but are there all day (not their fault it is what they are told to do) and sit right out front of the villa so there is no privacy. We came for Valentine’s Day and rented a villa for privacy and unfortunately got the opposite. Miss Carline is so nice but we ate most meals out. We also had a very difficult time with the locals when we left the villa and found the customer service at local reataursnts to be extremely disappointing. The house cat Reds and the driver Clarence were the absolute best. We went to chukka tours and they knew nothing about the discount. The local store is very expensive and Ocho Rios itself is very impoverished it was very upsetting to see. Just giving an honest review as I was shocked after reading so many great reviews. Again no offense to the staff they are fantastic I just wanted to share our unfortunately disappointing experience.

Birthday in Jamaica!!! (Solo Vaca)

I have no idea where to start. From the moment I touched down in Jamaica life was wonderful. My driver Dez whom is also my friend and security picked me up from the airport. Sorry Dez does not come with the Villa..he is mine! :-) Arrived to the villa and was greeted with the warmest welcome from Ms. C!!! She cooked me the most amazing meals!!! ((Eyes rolling)) Her spirit is Amazing and her laugh brought me joy. I see in the reviews people complained about privacy...ummm its Jamaica and the people here are family types. So you might want to visit somewhere else if you dont like people. I loved seeing them around the property as you feel safe and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Just like the photos. Ms C. keeps an EXTREMELY tidy place. I MEAN SPOTLESS!! Philip is there to be sure your safe at night. The property welcomes you with its beauty and nature sounds in the evening. VILLA 1 is the prime location. It directly overlooks the ocean and you may see a passing cruise ship in the dark of night which is cool to see. Man, I could go on and on and I will definitely be back to this property. Thank you to Ms Trish as well for directing us when we first arrived. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY!!! ❤❤❤❤#JamaicaIsLife

A Stay In Paradise

Upon arrival there was a hot meal in the oven. We were late because of customs, and did not expect the meal since we were so late. It was there, as was Carleen with her beautiful smile. We were treated like family, and we returned the favor and treated them as family. We made a video of Ridley telling us some stories. Our family has enjoyed watching that very much. Carleen is an amazing cook and treated us to all kinds of delightful food. The house is pretty, and the rooms were comfortable. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved doing the Bob Marley tour through Chukka Cove tours. Did a video of the horses going to the barn in the morning, how beautiful. Everyone we met was awesome. Loved Tony the gardner as well. The three ate with us almost every meal, and it was such a blessing! We played domino's with them, and that thrilled my husband! We made friends that we will stay in touch with. The swimming cove was perfect. Went out to eat at Scotchies, once. It was good but we wanted to be with our new "family". The place is really nice with one exception. The kitchen. It needs a remodel. It is aged, and Carleen sure deserves a more modern kitchen to cook in. I hope the Melville's will update that for her one day soon. That said, it was truly the perfect vacation, and the crew associated with this house is top notch!! I recommend this place highly. The view is mesmerizing!!!!!
