This 4-bedroom vacation rental is the dream destination for those who are looking for leisure living, beautiful National Parks, endless trails to explore, and an incredible resort facility at Desert Color. This home is furnished with beautiful beds, comfy blankets, an open-concept living/dining area, and a private hot tub! You will love stargazing on the rooftop deck, while your kids might enjoy the arcade game! While you will find everything you need to enjoy a great stay here at Mavericks Retreat, be sure to leave time to head over to The Shores Resort to enjoy all their fun amenities and activities!

Your key fob will also grant you access to the Springs Social Spa, an oversized hot tub area located on the corner of Marilla and Akoya Pearl Street. This is a gated area that a limited number of properties will have access to. The spa hours are 10 am to 10 pm.

Pet-Friendly: Bring your loveable pets with you! This property is dog-friendly and accommodates a maximum of 2 dogs. An additional pet fee is automatically added to each reservation. If you want to book this property but are not bringing a pet, please give Red Rock a call after booking and we can remove that charge for you.

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

Everything was great. Kids loved the pools and having access to the paddle boards and sand toys was so nice. Just a couple things. The door hinge on the little toy room needs fixed before the entire door falls off. The main bedroom bathroom needs to have the left side sink unplugged. It drains so slowly that you can’t even really wash your hands before the sink starts filling up because of the drain being plugged. Also the kitchen sink faucet only works on spray mode. The little button doesn’t work to change it from spray to normal flow. Those are just some minor things that were a bit annoying. Would be nice if they were fixed before your next guests stay. Thanks so much for everything. We enjoyed it ALL!!

Beat the Heat

Simple, clean townhome at the awesome Deseret Color location. We were a small group of 5 and were able to walk 2 minutes to the Lagoon each morning. 2nd time visiting thought Red Rock Management and they are VERY supportive. Go and Beat the Heat!

Nice Getaway

Our family had a great stay at the Mavericks Retreat. There was plenty of room for large groups, it was clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private hot tub was a big hit too, and we loved that every room was connected to its own bathroom. The amenities at Desert Color were also amazing! It’s the closest thing to a beach and tropical vacation that you can find in Utah! We loved it and would definitely recommend it to others.

This is the place to stay! The house has so much space, plenty of rooms, bathrooms, and entertainment! There is a hot tub on-site, and pickelball, large pool, and lagoon within a short walk. Highly recommend! Iiclose to St.

Great stay

Was looking for a place where we could bring our small dogs and this was ideal. The price was fair and accommodations were outstanding. The amenities from the community are outstanding and would highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely look to book again if we are back in the area but next time we will allow time to truly enjoy all the amenities such as the lagoon, pickleball courts, etc.

Calm and Clean

We enjoyed staying at this property for two nights while a child competed with her high school team. A quick trip. Property was surprisingly large and left a lot of room for the kids. No fighting! There is a jacuzzi on property and one just a block down the road. We weren't able to enjoy the pool because it was contaminated - wish they would institute a swim diaper and plastic pants policy to avoid. Master bedroom and Upstairs bedroom TVs didn't work - were glitchy so just watched phone. May want to look into that. We had a great time and would love to return.

A few problems

We enjoyed our stay, but there were a few problems: Garage door not working, nor could we access easily after fix. Where is remote? Ice maker not working, as well as refrigerator so cold our food FROZE. I found dirty blankets that needed to be washed in master. Spa clean people, should have come before our stay, not during, as we should not be expected to deal with cleaning nor repair people during our vacation. Garage door needs to be attended too, as it sounds horrible, as if it might fall at any minute. Access easy, location great. Really like Desert Color.

Very nice, excellent location

We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the house to the wonderful lagoon in the neighborhood. An easy walk! We also loved how clean not only the house was, but also the neighborhood and recreation areas. However, a few tips or requests: The children’s toys in the hidden playroom were a great idea, but they were missing a lot of pieces and or eaten by animals or young toys with teeth marks all over them. They would benefit from being replaced. Also, the toilet paper was rough, and did not match the price and higher end elements of the rest of the house. There were not enough towel hooks in all of the bathrooms, especially when having two people stay per room (which is not that many) but still required a few more places to dry towels every day. But overall, we had a great time and a very fulfilling vacation. Thank you!

Wonderful condo in a fantastic property

The lagoon! I've never seen anything like it. The kids had an absolute blast paddleboarding and swimming. The condo was huge and just as nice as advertised. Highly recommend.

Birthday weekend

It was a really fun long weekend!! The house was beautiful! It has everything you could possibly need! We loved the private hot tub and the lagoon was absolutely perfect!! We used the paddle boards that were included which was a nice bonus! I would definitely recommend and we will be back!!

I loved that each bedroom had a separate bathroom. All family members had their own space. It was very clean and very nice. Loved the pool and the Lagoon. Loved that there was a kayak, life jackets and wagon in the garage to use. Will come back.

Our Gathering Place

The town house we rented was clean and fully equipped. It is close to all of the attractions that St. George has to offer. We especially liked the pool and lagoon. Our family spent a great deal of time there. We would definitely go again.

Fantastic Fun

This property was the perfect spot for our spring break! We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom- It came in real Handy having a boy room and a girl room, so the girls didn't have to share with the teenage boys. We also appreciated that it was pet friendly, so our four legged family member actually got to come with us this time. The hot tub on the rooftop deck was also a favorite.
